  2. Actually, if I was more on the ball you could see that the first cross over occured yesterday well before the close. I'm talking about ADX crossing the DMI- which is above the DMI+. I have found these patterns to be fairly profitable, using a very similar system to someone's journal here a while ago. Can't quite remember who, however.

    Thanks,

Maybe this: DMI/ADX consistently works ?

Thanks for the tip on DMI. I used that indicator in the past but got away from it. Using in the 30' timeframe looks good to me.

Hello all. I spent the last few days reading both journals and just wanted to thank Spyder and everyone else for their tremendous work. I look forward to trading this system in 2006.

  7. Hello Everyone,

After returning late last night from the Beaches of South Florida, I'm spending the day catching up on all that I missed (Email, Posts, PM's, USENET, US Postal Mail, etc.). Thanks to everyone who contributed to the discussion over the last two weeks. I found many of the comments well reasoned and extremely helpful.

A hearty welcome to all the new folks, and A prosperous 2006 to you all!

  9. I entered 3 trades today; none reached FRV.

    SWN +2%
    UEPS even
LUFK +1.8% (NOTE: this stock had a high short interest ratio of 6%)

Not great, but I'll take this any day compared to what I'm used to.

  10. REDF looks like it may be making another cycle up.

It may be intersting to see if it follows the same sequence of events we saw on Dec 06 of last year(sounds funny).
