By the way, Spydertrader, I was unsure whether to enter the trade at all since the stock at that time didn't look that strong but your entry and mention of it on the board gave me the nudge to do so. Thanks Mike
Hi Dougcs, I had it generating the signal at 10:27 am, very late compared to you. 12/15/05 10:26:42 14.08 14.04 14.08 98640 12/15/05 10:27:07 14.07 14.06 14.07 98740 12/15/05 10:27:21 14.06 14.05 14.07 100140 12/15/05 10:27:21 14.05 14.05 14.07 101140 12/15/05 10:27:27 14.05 14.05 14.07 101340 12/15/05 10:27:27 14.07 14.05 14.07 101440 12/15/05 10:27:27 14.07 14.05 14.07 101740 12/15/05 10:28:14 14.07 14.05 14.07 101940 12/15/05 10:28:23 14.07 14.05 14.06 102040 12/15/05 10:28:36 14.06 14.06 14.08 102340 12/15/05 10:28:41 14.06 14.05 14.07 102440 I don't like trading those signals that are lingering around the 80 line especially since I had to work today. I took no trades today. I may buy some tomorrow since it did reach FRV. gooch87
Dryup list for Friday with Lower Band Data DCAI LB 28040 KNDL LB 44838 NGPS LB 59688 VPHM LB 410041 Good trading everyone. Gooch87
Actually, you're both right....note Dougcs' time zone.... PS. My du list matches yours with the exception of KNDL....KNDL did not make my list for Friday....
Agree with your list; and I have, for fun, DXPE and IPII that both fall short of the float and V65 requirements. Doug
Hi, Enjoying the thread. Quick question, has anyone done any work on the behavior of stocks that are heavily institutionally owned vs those that are not? Relative to this system that is. I believe that stocks that are 100+ owned by institutions will behave differently then those that are weakly owned by them. Again, curious if anyone has done any work on this or have any comments on this. Thanks John
Closed half my PETS position for a 5% gain. Today's buys: DCAI at 10.78 VPHM at 19.90 NGPS at 30.30 Doug
A couple of years ago, I tracked the "Percent of Shares Owned by Institutions" among the Final Universe Stocks. At that time, I did not have any Equities which had 100% of the shares owned by Institutions. Although the percentages did regularly change (most likely as the result of Accumulation / Distribution), someone may have posted (back then) about seeking a minimum amount of institutionally owned shares. You might check the MSN Web Site (Jack Hershey Strategies) linked in the Background Material in the Original Journal for the post. - Spydertrader
