  1. Do you read each row left to right 30 sec by 30 sec?

That is so cool. The cummulative and the bar total is cool too.

The old drill sheet of drawing the lines up the page is a good "active" orientation to seeing the surges and profit making potential. It calibrates a person.

I really liked "reading" the day because it is such a fast read. Watching it form up through the day for 20 days will build the subconscious like nothing else IMO.

Write the FTT's on it too with sparkles.

Here is the timing sheet that my design is based on. The columns I refer to in my earlier post are numbered 1 to 11 in this sheet. Dark green is 1 and Red is 11.

The lines in the graph are the lines I plotted volume for a few intervals on the ES while watching the ES for the first time last friday.

  5. Very nice results bi9foot! Did you base it off of Mak's (makosgu) excel program or di it from scratch? Either way, very nice. What data provider is required?

PS: I for one would be interested in it.

  6. I've been trying to follow bi9foot last several posts and ended up going thru the posted links to the Pro rata Timing document. I compared this document to the volume graphs that he displayed.

I am not sure what i am looking at and I am really lost trying to
understand the volume report and how it relates to bi9Foot work.

I am bit too lost to ask specific questions but I attached a graphic with some general questions. I am hoping if someone can answer my general questions then I will be able to follow and understand
    bi9foot graphics.

    Thanks for your help!

  7. Good volume rays.

    Excellent annotations.

Your double weight channels than enclose the traverses are terrific.

The mikey bars are really helpful. the par of the 5 minute bar where the "action' takes place really "shows" with the mikey bar segments.

See If you can get, for the ER2, Ananda to do the volume spectrum chart he did for the ES.

Between the price channel annotation, the mikey bars and the Ananda volume spectrum, our minds will heve the P, V drill down cold in a couple of weeks. It will look like the forming bar and the phantom ahead of it are already there all the time for any index or forex or stocks.

The 2007 threads are going to be the best. and go round the clock from exchange to exchange.

  8. 8833broc,

Regarding the Pro-Rata Timing sheet, the idea is to start at the 'Begin' row (at bottom) at the beginning of a 5 min bar. Every 30 seconds, draw a line from the last 30 secs using the current bar volume. The numbers in the vertical columns are 5 min bar volume. You'll notice that volume on the leftmost columns are fast-paced and rightmost columns are DU/VDU. So, draw points every 30 secs and connect the dots. At the end of a 5 min bar, you'll end up with what I believe is a vol accel/decel curve.

Recently in this thread (sorry I don't have it handy), there is a link to Jack's description of this drill. He suggested using different colors to plot multiple bars on the sheet.

Regarding bi9foot's cool version, I'm pretty sure the numbers you refer to are cumalative volume and bar volume.

No, it is not in excel. It is a .NET C# application that I did with a demo version of a grid control.

My dataprovider is IB & IQFeed
