FWIW, I played around with my pop up settings and chat still worked. Pop-ups need to be enabled for PMs. My guess would be Java, but that should give an error or an empty grey box with an X in the upper right, when Java fails to load. The Java site Spydertrader posted the linked to, has a button that will test your system to see if Java is installed and working. Try that before updating it. If you could post the error message that would help. Regards, EZ
Hello, Ron: Why didn't you dip into FTEK, GMXR, GRRF & DXPE? Or, you might catch the next train: CMED &........ Are they outside the box or am I ? w
Thx spyder. Who is your data provider? Now Ive got to find out if my problem is with IB or Quotetracker.
For those of you (like me) who tend to struggle and work and try and not quite get things, perhaps this video might shed some light. Maybe what you believe isn't quite so solid and firm as you once thought. I think the moral is obvious. At about the 3min mark the speaker plays a video. Watch through that and just after. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3PdhqR225Q
This present drop in the dollar is a rocket. As I said - I know a guy that successfully trades fx and uses the 8 hour time frame. In his monthly cycle he has approx 73 bars - almost identical to the number of 5 minute bars in a 390 minute session. Use the one hour as a proxy for volume (see November '06 attached chart). Only one settup last month - the rocket, would have got you in long at 1.2600 on the euro (presently 1.3300) - but virtually every Jack Hershey technique is applicable using this settup. Best part is you can trade it checking the screen 3 times a day for 5 minutes (7pm ET, 3am and 11am) when the 480 minute bar closes.
To reiterate NZDSPeCIALISt's point, take a look at the EUR/USD pair through Netdania.com's Java Forex Chart. Add a few trend lines, and focus in on the 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM time frame. Clearly, the FTT signals the sizeable drop in price just before it rockets downward. Many other FTT's exist as well. As many of you know, I do not trade Forex. However, the charts illustrate the universal application of the FTT. Good Trading to you all (in whatever market you choose). - Spydertrader
