Today's ES Chart .... Happy Thanksgiving to those Traders in the USA. To those persons elsewhere, Happy Average, Ordinary, Everyday Thursday! - Spydertrader
Just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you put into this journal and prior ones. You have helped me reach that next plateau and am truly thankful. ET is very lucky for your continued giving on this forum.
Hi Spyder, Here is a trade I did today. I think it would be considered outside the box due to float, but it still has rank. I noticed the note says 2%, in fact it was 3.2% profit. good trading, gooch87
You are most welcome. As you know, "collaborative iterative refinement" benefits all that contribute. The real credit for the success of both Journals belongs to those who have contributed their efforts along the way (including yourself). Think of it as payback (forward) for when another poster to these Journals (Nwbprop) showed me how to draw channels - way back in the beginning. Once again, an excellent trade. Keep up the great work. - Spydertrader
Greetings! I've been lurking here for several days following Spydertrader's instructions re: reading the previous journal as well as this one. I completed the first journal and this one through April 2006, taking notes along the way. I day trade the 30 year and 10 year bonds (see journal) and I'm looking to branch out. I hope to be a regular contributor to this thread. For now, I have 2 questions to anyone who may have the answer. I noticed that mischief has created a utility to use with amibroker. I don't use the software, however I've had my eye on it for a few years. Any comments from those who are successfully utilizing amibroker to trade this method? Does it make a difference? Second question is directed towards those who actually trade this without looking at intraday data. Are there any people here who are doing this? I know the answer is yes. If any of you would comment on your experience doing this from an EOD standpoint, I would appreciate it. Between monitoring the credit markets, gold, corn and the S&P I don't know that I can add several stocks to watch as well on real time basis. EOD no problem. TIA (thanks in advance)
