    Wen..

It's a sea of RED out there. MIKR & ININ are the only ones green at the moment..The rest are on oxygen.

    Regards

Tell me about it. A painful day in a painful week. I am still holding several stocks from Friday and Monday, and none of them are doing well. I've spent the day rereading Journal I in an attempt to see if I could have/should have exited earlier and saved myself some pain.

Some should probably have been closed earlier, but I was second-guessing the rules. An expensive lesson, that's for sure.

Well, them's the breaks. Just re-emphasizes the importance of risk management and position sizing.

    Luck all.

  3. I've been screwing around with several methods for a couple of years. I truly wish I had focused more on Spyders/Jacks stuff a long time back. Thank you both.

I'm still just paper trading this method while I build confidence (I trade something different with real $$$ and do ok but nothing like what Spy has done)

I thought I'd post a successful trade on a day where it looks a bit gloomy. I was monitoring DU stocks and at about 9:00am central time SMSI was already approaching LBDU. But, MACD was neg and Stoch was around 10 and I recalled that this was a short set up and took it (on paper) and got better than 50 cents on a 12 dollar stock in a few hours.

Anyone got in on DTLK ? It showed up in my scan with a rank of 6 an DU of 52K. I am not 100% sure if i am following everything correctly yet. Was it not supposed to be in my watch list today?

    Thanks

  5. Keep working at it. My mistakes were my greatest teachers.

  6. I spent the vast majority of the day monitoring the ES, so I apologize for not posting sooner. To echo the comments of dougcs, tomorrow is an FOMC day. Please, excerise caution if you decide to ignore the rule prohibiting equities trading on such days.

As a beginner, no. I would not have TIE on my list of stocks to watch.

Prior to today, DTLK did not have a price above $10.00 USD. As a result, I did not have DTLK in my Final Universe. If DTLK appears in my scans this evening, I plan to add it.

Ah i see what happened now.

My mistake was to combine a last posted final universe in this thread with the universe from networknt site ( which i know you mentioned is incorrect ) and now i see why. This symbol never came up on my stocktables scans so it took me a while to find where it came from. I will not go back there again :)

Is there anyway you can post your Universes? If you do, i can start from scratch and throw out my current list which seems to be somewhat incorrect.

    Thanks

Spydertrader, am I correct in assuming that the $33 level in GROW would have been a place you may have placed a short on the 30 minute chart? I sold some of my GROW at that point but did not have the guts to short.

I noticed a similar set up in TWGP and I did short that one at $31.56 for a quick profit.

  10. Actually, I little higher than that today based on Price and Indicators settings (See Attached Chart). However, I did not trade GROW today, so these observations occur in hindsight.

    Nicely done.
