  1. I enjoyed playing around with the program this evening. Nicely done. Thanks again for sharing your efforts with everyone.

  2. Did better than MED over the past couple of days.... I was holding NWRE into the earnings announcement (due to a mistake on my part). I'm thanking a higher power that it was not MED...

  3. I have been watching TXCO as a possible short based on the turning down of the MACD and both Stochastics on the daily chart.

But it also appears to be consolidating in a flat pattern, like a flag after that last big run up. So it is kind of a mixed chart for me.

What do you think? I could use some help evaluating this. Thank you in advance.

  5. Second the complement; very nicely put together.

It is very nice of you to do this for us.

For some reaon, I can not get quotes to work.
I have a list of stocks in "securties ALL", right click and select "update quotes", and see the progress meter. But when I go to the "Quotes" tab, there is no data or stocks listed.

Right clicking a symbol group and selecting "update quotes" downloads historical EOD quote data.

The "Quotes" tab shows the 15 minutes delayed quotes and pro rata of volume. Only going to the "Quotes" tab will not activate the function. Each time you must double click a symbol group of the "Securities" pane to start downloading and showing the current (15 minutes delayed) quotes.

more compliments.... very nice program qx :)

Has anyone found any issues? Everything looks good to me... but I have hardly traded in 3 months due to other obligations.

    Thanks again!

  8. The only issue I have found resulted from not having all the earnings dates update. Only a few of the symbols had dates posted, but later, I assumed this resulted from the fact that the dates for earnings announcements were far off, and the system posted upcoming (or soon to be released) dates.

After updating data and quotes, double clicking a file folder (e.g. Final Universe, Dry Up List, etc.) immediately brought in the data for my review.

It even appears as if the program automatically logs into stocktables.com to retrieve data if you provide your username and password. Pretty nifty stuff if I have that correct.

I recommend to anyone having difficulty operating the software to click all the buttons and test all the functions out. I still haven't quite figured out a few things (what is perspective and what 'other' perspectives might I have?), but a complete test drive on new software usually uncovers all the features.

    Once again, nicely done.

That's right. The earnings dates come from Yahoo Finance website.
    Correct!
At present we have just one perspective, that is, HersheyTrader perspective. Maybe later we will implement more perspectives.

  10. Really thanks a lot to qx04790 for his generous sharing.

I am still reading the Journal I & Journal II and trying to follow the methodologies. This software really helps.

I got one problem in obtaining financial data and quotes from Yahoo Financial.

By right clicking the stock and selecting "Updating Financial Data" or "Updating Quotes" but no data was downloaded to the software. The panel of Historical Data and Quotes are still blank.

    The print screen was attached.

Could you help? Thanks in advance.
