  3. Mischief...(or whomever is kind enough)
Pardon my spinnin mind (still digestin all the nuances)....

Are we then using DUV to 'alert us' and FRV (plus indicators goin 80 on stoch 30 min and MACD over 0) as the entry signal?

    Thanks in advance

  4. Depending on where you find yourself among the many pages of Journals One and Two, you may still have some confusion regarding how the Hershey Equities System operates.

We look for stocks that have seen their volumes drop to extremely low levels on a daily basis. We call this event 'Dry Up' because the volume literally has evaporated. We monitor these stocks intra-day looking for a volume and price breakout to the upside. We call this event First Rising Volume (FRV). In order to catch these stocks as they begin their move, we enter when the daily volume (actual) exceeds Dry Up Volume (calculated) levels before 11:30 AM Eastern Time. We use the MACD Histogram and The Stochastic Indicator to confirm a valid Volume Signal. If actual volume does not reach First Rising Volume levels by End Of Day (EOD), we may have entered into a stock undergoing a False BreakOut (FBO), and as a result, we exit the following morning (or before EOD depending on preference).

    I hope that helps.

  9. Spydertrader I just started following your juornal and I have a few questions that I hope you can answer.

    1) Whats the best place to start learning about your method because I think you made some adjustments to the system you began with? Or do you still think its best to start at the beginning of the first journal?

    2) Is it possible to use telechart 2005 for scanning the market or do I have to use stocktables.com?

    Thanks in advance!
