I don't understand the BUY and SELL signals on the Rank 4.0 charts. They don't align with the shading of the stochastics 5,2,3 and 14,1,3. Shouldn't the shading align with a signal? Jakeytrader
Review the 'Bruno R' post for the set-up used in this latest chart script. The buy and sell signals correspond to entry and exit in Jack's 'Bruno R' post. Additional optimization is required, but I have more testing to do before I can publish. The shading indicates Stochastics (5,2,3) above 50 ('High Noon" Clarification) and Stochastics (14,1,3) above 80 (looking for intertwining - 'Hold Signal'). In other words, individuals with various experience levels can obtain different pieces of information from the same chartscript. A beginning trader can still use the DU ----> FRV -----> Peak Volume paradigm, or the DU Volume Line calculations in the Volume Pane. An intermediate Trader might use the Shaded areas of Stochastics in combination with MACD, and a more advanced trader might focus on 'Bruno R' and Second Derivatives. Rather than create separate Chartscripts for various trading methods, I merged everything into one Chartscript allowing for easier updates in the Future. - Spydertrader

Jack just posted a very informational comment on another ET thread. It is about channels, gaussians, failures to traverse, indicators, etc. on a 30 minute BA chart. It is a great review from the master , and it brings clarifications of some of the things we discussed about ATHR over this past weekend.
