And wouldn't you just know, CNTF is the one stock I like this morning. Still holding here - no action taken. - Spydertrader
Hi all, I've trying to develop this tool in Excel to monitor volume activity ... not just for Dry up stocks but for other stocks in my watch list as well.... I have two screens: 1) A volume monitor that uses IB real time data feed to monitor volume on both dry up and stocks in my watch list, it: - Sends alerts when stocks reach dry up: message box, e-mail and sound - Records entry signals 2) Another sheet which I calll the Final Universe Monitor (for lack of a better name) ... it: - Gives me an overview of the overall universe (up/down) and volume speed.... Is this any useful to you? Comments/suggestions are welcome... Attached is a screenshot of the Volume Monitor (# 1)
Excellent work. Very Nice. I'm sure many who use IB is their broker would find your monitoring devices useful. - Spydertrader
I bought TWGP at 10:57 AM 27.89. Any comments are welcome, I'm still learning the Bruno R setups and I'm new to everything in general.
Hershey Equities Rank v. 4.0.0 The Newest of the Hershey Chartscripts contains several changes made in an effort to provide easier equity evaluation. Hershey Equities Rank v 4.0.0 contains the same Dry Up Volume and Scoring Calculations used in previous versions. However, several cosmetic and functional changes should improve performance. A. Enlarged Volume Pane B. Purple (DU, FRV & Peak) Volume lines to Volume Pane (calculations based on Jack Hershey's IBD Group Instructions) C. Shading on The Stochastic Indicators when above threshold (50 level on Stochastics (5,2,3) & 80 Level on Stochastics (14,1,3)) D. Stop Offset Calculation to Price Pane based on Dave Richardson's Calculations E. Second Derivative (Volume and Price) Calculations based on Dougcs (and Wealth-Lab.com Staff) Trade Station Functions F. Improved 'Bruno R' Mechanical Trading System The mechanical trading signals require additional optimization. As such, I do not recommend their use beyond educational purposes. Also, the 'Stop Offset' Calculation should be used with Jack's 'Stop Offset Method' as described in the videos previously posted in this forum. I hope you find the above Upgrade helpful. - Spydertrader
