Here is my two cents, you guys can tell me if I am on crack :)

ENG - I am biased... I hold a position in this stock as of Monday... shouldn't have gotten into it... I kinda read the chart wrong, hehe :p I think options expiration is holding this down... someone with really deep pockets wants Apr12.5 Calls to die. The St(5,2,3) is turning up... if some volume comes along maybe it will pop... my guess is early next week.

FMD - St(5,2,3) also turning up :) The current pattern matches one in Feb-Mar, which was followed by huge run... if things really move, this has upside all the way to 50

FTEK this one looks ripe... it is below the MA, but historically, it bounces off consistently. I will be watching this one tomorrow.

MIND based on previous charts, this one seems to like to sink and dry up for a few days before making its next move

NWRE - this is a DU, if it moves up, it will probably test the MA... I have had success with this in the recent past as a DU stock

SFCC wow, this one is in the desert as far as volume goes...

SIRF hmmm I don't know what to say about this one... it looks like it has already started a BO. At my skill level, I don't know how I would enter this trade

TWGP I like this one too... a similar setup happened in mid March and it took off. St(5,2,3) is turning up, 3 day volume in slight uptrend. I will watch this tomorrow too.

Feel free to rip me apart if I am out of whack on any of this... chart reading isn't my strong point :)

    Cheers

    Hi Chaos

I traded IVAC today because it made FRV yesterday. I monitored the selling this morning then when it found support, waited for some buying and got filled at 28.40. Set my stop low enough not to get filled unless some bad news came out, and then I went to work, all before 8 am pacific time.

  6. I jumped into FTEK this morning only to watch volume evaporate once I had a position. As a result, I quickly exited for a small loss.

  8. Thanks. When I first enter a trade, I try to focus on what the market tells me. When the market shows me the error of my ways, exiting quickly insures I keep the losses very small. Interestingly, had I hit the sell button a millisecond sooner, the trade would have resulted in a small ($4.00 USD) profit.

Failing to have patience earlier this week (on the ATHR Trade) causing me to miss out on a modest gain, reminded me to focus on the signals provided by the market, and not my own 'thoughts and feelings' toward a trade. That lesson saved me money today.

Well, today has proven to be interesting overall... Dow up nicely, NAS struggling a bit. Most of the stocks on our various lists haven't held up ...my two positions, ENG managed to bump down .20-.25 cents, CKCM also swung down...

I guess Earnings Season and Option expiriation are causing a stir... has anyone ever done a quick analysis to see how our tickers respond to a Max Pain options analysis? This info may help durning this time of the month

    thoughts?

  10. Keep in mind both the DJIA and The NASDAQ Composite index have enjoyed significant gains over the last week or so. Most every asset class has seen similar increases as well. Be careful to attach causation to something that might have resulted from nothing more than simple profit taking. While I have yet to perform a 'max pain analysis' on optionable Hershey Stocks, I have often stated how little correlation exists between our Final Universe and the Broader Markets. In other words, when both The Hershey Universe and The Boarder Markets tank or rise, it does not indicate, nor does disprove, mutual exclusivity. More often than not, one has little to do with the other.
