missed the NWRE but got TIE...
Excellent job. And to think, you only started learning about Hershey Equities Three weeks ago. keep up the great work. - Spydertrader
Spydertrader, I've been working really hard to get started on this method and I'm very grateful to you and all the other members in this board that put enourmous amount of hours to take it where it is... big thanks also to mischief for sharing his Amibroker code.
NDAQ closed just above the lower channel line. Although price breached the lower channel on a few occasions this afternoon, it did not reach my stop offset line (purple). As a result, I'm holding this small position until at least tomorrow. - Spydertrader
I'm drawing the NDAQ's channels a little differently. They still show that NDAQ is on the verge of turning up, but the point 3 (maybe even point 1) is not set yet. The FED's announcement will probably introduce some jitters tomorrow.
I was in PWEI today, got in 27.58, out at 28 at the end of the day... nice little move, didn't want to really be in anything with the Fed move tomorrow. Of course, it traded at 28.45 after hours... hehe As for FORD, yes, major head kicking going on right now... I saw that signal at 8.75 I believe. NWRE had a great move today too... seems like a lot of stuff has been moving lately.
The market has provided a wealth of opportunity over the last several weeks. Whether the Fed Announcement fosters continuation of this trend, or creates an environment for a new one, only time will tell. I appreciate your contribution to the Journal, and keep up the great work. - Spydertrader
Do you or anyone else reading this trade differently on Fed Day? Say by reduced amounts, or not taking certain setups, or just taking the day off? I usually trade half my normal amount for new positions and widen stops especially around and just after the announcement. Doug
