Does anyone know why some of the ETF's (particularly SPY), don't take stops? I'd like to get away from the screen when I'm in these, but my system doesn't have a stop option for some of the ETF's (XLE,GLD,SPY, etc). Thank you in advance for any insight.
Using Interactive Brokers I just entered a stop order for 100 SPY @ 130.20 and then quickly cancelled it. What broker are you using?
It must be specific to Goldman. I use Goldman's REDI. I'll give them a call. Thanks for the info...it is appreciated.
