  1. Bonds are in the red. I shorted it just to taste it. I am out as I do not trade them and I book the little money I made, but bonds seem to behave nicely. I might actually start trading them. Ticks are at 1/32 of a point (32 is a power of 2). Contract is 100K. So a 1/32 is a round $15. Does anyone trade bonds? My trade was in ZN.

When I put the trade I got some alert to some settlement/delivery business. Any bond trader here who can expand on this a bit more? It relates to some forced buying/selling by notification date.

  2. This is a perfect time for a bear raid, right when everybody's expecting a rally.

  7. The markets figured the chinese government. It seems to think it is hot air at best, and lies at worst. The chinese goverment may have thought they were dealing with their own people.

The cash market is king. The futures speculators fell for the chinese words last night. I expect the Chinese will come later, and do some real FACTS/ACTIONS, to essentially say we did not bluff/lie.

Guess I was wrong, this entire rally has faded, Im actually quite surprised right now, I made 2 trades on the short side, traded TWM and SSG today. They still have a chance to prop the markets higher by the close, day isn't over just yet.

  10. I was right on BOTH bonds and stocks! It is very rare to see both bonds and stocks down, but it takes rare luck or talent to get it right!

Do you want to know how I did it?:p
