SPX weeklies are already traded on the CBOE's hybrid system, unlike the the regular SPX options. They are PM settled.

The Quarterly and Weekly SPX PM settlement will continue to trade on the CBOE on their Hybrid system. This is an interesting decision as these are the same products (as the monthly SPX PM being traded on the C2.) This will make spreads difficult or impossible to trade between weekly, quarterly and monthly as they are on different exchanges, the C2 being all electronic.
