    Pabst, Pabst, Pabst......

    Thought any good trader never called tops or picked bottoms?

    Now you've gone and made a fool of yourself. Nothing you ever say under the user name Pabst will ever have any credibility again. Your Pabst account is good for really nothing now other than taking the piss and making sport of

    My suggestion is to eat the humble pie you have been served and give us a final sign-off. We at least deserve that. You know the final post where you get publicly praised for all your past contributions as well as letting all your detractors publicly piss on you.

    Now after doing that final sign-off message leave forever as Pabst. I think your honor is really at stake here and unfortunately you compromised it yourself. As any good trader knows, you shouldn't put yourself in these situations.

    With all that being said, just come back with a new account and keep contributing what you can within reason.

    I tell you this as any good publicist would. Just ask T.O. how much a good publicist is worth (BTW he needs a good one too).

  4. From the man that said that last July was feeling like August of 2000, good luck away from Elitetrader . . . Perhaps you should take a bit of a "break" from trading, Sir.
    You seem to have fought this recent rally for month after month after month.

    Well, my turn to blow the horn up Pabst's ass, but I am not going to. I think, if he was a trader that he referred to in his previous posts, then he realises the mistake he's made here.

    What I was confused about though is:

    a) your stop levels;
    b) position size;

    I just could not relate your past trading experiences with above 2. I mean this is not really criticism, but more of an observation. 20 units shouldn't have been really big enough size with your possible bank roll to cover after 2-3 points down on such a conviction. Perhaps your intentions were to re-enter at a higher level, in that case I understand. I think you shouldn't have jumped at B1S2's throat as I am certain when the time comes his call for a top is going to be more sophisticated than yours. Anyhow, I find it said that you are being "slaughtered" right now, society loves losers I guess. But than again you knew what to expect making such a call. All the best.

  7. I still am an IT contractor - how did you make the break - or what do you do now?

  9. I would tend to agree.
    Although I wish no ill-will towards Pabst personally.

    The bottomline is that this thread showed no constructive premise to begin with, aside from a casual mention of a technical "measured-move". Instead, it was filled with a lot of ego and perhaps a cry for help.

    And yet here we all are just 42 pages later . . .
    :eek:

    Why is everyone so excited to see someone who has a lot to offer leave ET? So, he made a bad call. Haven't we all?

    If anything else, it gave everyone something to write about for a few days. :)

    Remember, tomorrow is another day...

    Yes, I've lost some money too on this run up. Call me an optimist, but I'm still hoping for the big crash tomorrow. lol
