I'm not sure if this violates the policy of ET or not, but it would be interesting to have a list of the services we use to assist us in trading SPX spreads. For example, market timing journals, tech analysis, commentary, etc. Paid or not paid.

    Any interest?

Crude options might be more liquid then SPX options. The guys in NY make very deep markets. You can trade them on a screen through an electronic broker but your fills still come from the pit.

  5. I'd be very interested. I'm currently trying to soak up as much information as possible. I'll need something to read while I'm waiting for coach's book to arrive. :D

  8. They had no choice listing the futs due to the ICE contract. ICE has no electronic options, so we have to wait for that shoe to drop.

You might want to look at XLE for calendar spread, I have been very successful doing it for the past few months. Did not try IC on XLE yet. I usually do 3-4 months CS on XLE.

The sep/oct 56/57 put diag in the XLE looks interesting.
