That is why I say wait until the news. If you were dying to get into a bear call spread before, you might have gotten a better fill after perhaps . Watch us drift back lower over time. There was also some end of quarter buying this week.
When the pot gets stirred by Uncle Ben We behave like chickens and not like men From the dark we hear a cry - "Stand still!" Ahhh, the voice of reason, it's Uncle Phil!
Did you get filled? I sat at .7 after the announcment w/o a fill....at the end of the day, the bid was at .6 and the ask at 1.45. WTF?
And now standing still we are Many wondering from afar To which corner does the east wind blow? An errant path then soon to know Whether North or South will hold my fate Whirling, spinning, but alas, too late! I find myself where I once began Tossed to and fro by an unseen hand Vigilant on watch, yet slowly turned A gain, a loss, nigh six pence earned To step, to run, to fly above it all Unbeknownst where the axe may fall
Ben turns the charts with his tone It does no good for us to moan Perhaps its time to check with Gann? My god... too late.... a Hanging man!
Hi, Phil, Are you still daytrading the ES, shooting for a 1 point daily average per contract? I was just curious. Thanks. Feel free to PM me if you would prefer that this is not appropriate subject matter on the journal. ssynic
hi all, this is off-topic a bit, but i dont know a better place to ask this. Thanks for any comments in advance. 1) Is it possible actually put on those spread trades in mini options? I doubt there a separate electronic book for those, is there? My platform seems to accept such ES options spread orders, but i'm not sure what exactly it does with them. 2) for the big SP in the pit, how do you find out which spread pairs have an active market, so that bid/ask may be close. I mean, lets say i want a 1200 put calendar spread, which months may have active trading going on?
