Interesting thing is what vols are doing to the credits. At the bottom of the big drop the other day, the bear calls I am looking at were priced the same as they are right now. Collapse in vols is completely eliminating the effect of the positive print.
thats why i chose to play a pullback here with debit spreads. If we make a quick pullback like a few days ago, those bear call spreads won't lose much value vs a straight up debit put spread.
We break 1300 next week, then some great news comes out of the CPI/PPI/Beige Book reports during the following week and you are in alot of pain scrambling. 50 days is a long time away and while we may be due for a pullback, we are still 40 points below our highs. Are we going to rally that hard? probably not but i would say it isnt as unlikely as it sounds. If you look at past price action and what happens when we have a nice correction, you will see it isnt too much of a stretch to see SPX at 1350 before july is over.
you made so many adjustments this month that i lost track of what you have or dont have LOL  (another reason to seek better commissions)
LOL... nah, most of it was just trying to get filled. A little Levi Lovin'.... all the work with none of the reward. In the end I just converted a bull put vertical to a b-fly, then converted the flies into bear puts.
I use IB. Institutions deal with proserve there. Overall the technology and service has been very good. Given the current move toward screen based trading, IB should be well positioned with solid technology in place going forward. Good Luck.
I have decided to dramatically curtail my involvement in this thread (probably will drop out). Probably few will care, but for anyone who is interested, here are my feelings: 1) The thread is becoming less and less informative. It is now essentially an instant messaging service for a select few. 2) For the followers of the CTM strategy instead of following common courtesy and starting their own thread (as per MoMoney's suggestion), they have pretty much taken over this thread and therefore it is of less interest to me. 3) Coach clearly doesn't have time for the thread (for obvious reasons) and I suspect has lost interest (who can blame him). At any rate, I wish all of you good and profitable trading.
Kind of wierd way to address me dont ya think. With everything going on, my name and posts are all over these last few pages.... I have not seen any drop off in my activity. You feeling ok today?
