Ah the beautiful world of trading where everyone tries to second guess and read between the lines, only to get brought back into the harsh real world a day later, where inflation/wages are rising and housing is not slowing. It seems that the majority were counting on the idea that the end was near. The problem is that we really haven't seen any signs of inflation slowing down. It's a toss up for me.
Hi coach long time lurker...just wondering ...since you are coming up on your first anniversery of this thread are you/have you considered starting (new thread) SPX Credit Spread Trader year 2 It might be easier for some folk to follow and they could be referred back to this if they want more basic info?
I think I might have to break off into another thread since this has gotten so long. What I may have to do is one day just cut and paste the best nuggets but I think that would take way too long anyway lol.
Man, I've had the worst luck this year with this market. Every time i declare a non-event day and take the remainder off, things hit the fan. This could've been an easy ES short good for 4-5 points with very lil risk. coach -> did you do any ES trades on that news?
I had stupid losses early in the day and I got to short some contracts into the drop to wipe awy those losses. No net gain for the day unfortunately as I was busy doing some other things but at least I got to get some back from the market lol......
I am sitting on some 1307.50 longs, will get out sometime this evening. Do you ever do after hour trades on the es?
