I show the same thing on my charts. We are sitting on the 50 day MA and on the lower end of the short-term upwards channel. Oil seems to be a big driver right now (again), will there be more oil drama over the weekend? Better fill up your gas guzzling SUV today!

Don't get me started about the Super Bowl! My damn Colts blew it again! Can Manning win the big game? Can Dungy win the big game? I like them both but come on, win one for once damn it!

I just learned something I wasn't aware of. According to Scott at ToS trading in the SPX continues on another 15 minutes after trading in stocks closes. That explains why I've gotten some fills at almost a quarter past what I thought was the close.

    You got that right!

However, I don't think Manning will ever win the big one. He's your classic pocket passer (albeit one of the best at it), but the best defenses know how to defend that. I was rooting for the Colts, as well. I don't get to see many Colt's games. I didn't realize Manning has such jumpy feet.

Either way, Hasselbeck's the quarterback of today's NFL. Go 'Hawks.

  5. Sorry about your Colts man, but my Steelers seem to be doing well. LOL... Nah, I actually like Manning. He see the field incredibly well, and even as an avid Steelers fan I didn't really think they could beat such a great Colts team. I don't think Denver would normally be half as tough as the Colts, but watch Denver blow my Steelers out of the water.

Anyway, I guess this isn't a sports thread so I'll quit talking football.

  6. You guys all discounting my Seahawks again? Typical east coast biasing again. No respect :)

A market enima is the best description I've heard yet about what happened today - I'll make sure to quote that.

  9. No, just not long stocks so no losses today! Kind of nice having that neutral outlook ;)

    Coach,

My return wasn't bad at all for this month

    I made money on

    SPX 1260/1250
    SPX 1305/1315
    RIMM 1270/1275
    RIMM 1265/1260
    OEX 590/595
    OEX 585/580

I also had 15 SPY128 for hedging which give me a lot of money today.

I made at least 6k this month. I use my 10/10 formula to trade credit spreads on stock the same way I do with SPX.

By 10/10 I mean 10% return and 10% protection married with technical analysis for my entry point.

I love FOTM options. I am going to look at Monday for some credits.

    Have a good weekend.
