As I remember, you have an IB account? What's better?

  2. As far as analytical software is concerned, TOS is far superior.

If I needed the software, I'd open an account to get it. But IB's analytics are almost good enough for what I need, so I'll stick with them.

I love the low commissions and although I've had some small problems with IB, I like the overall package well enough to stay put.

The attached chart shows how the FED has been increasing the money supply. I'm not at all clear on how this will lead to a rate cut in 2007. Doesn't this suggest a hyperinflationary effect?

  6. You could probably skip over the flaming posts, pics of JA and off-topic tangents and that would cut it in half :).

Also go to options and pick 20 posts per page so that it is only 311 pages or so.

    Coach:

A while back you were experimenting with buying VIX options as a hedge for bull puts in case of a black swan event.

What conclusions if any did you finally reach regarding this?

My DD got crushed with the VIX at the record lows (and I used to think a VIX of 12 was low:)). I pretty much broke even after commissions.
