  1. There are literally thousands of bots out there, especially true for SPX derivatives, which are arbing the hell out of every single theoretical synthetic relationship. What makes you think you can step in front of them? Your time will be better spent learning your synthetics rather than trying to find any edge in them.

    Murray,

All I see are ugly positions for DD (with or without tent poles) for SPX, do you see anything good out there for Jan/Feb right now? I'm just going to sit on my hands until next week it looks like.

Anybody record the Maverick/Don chat on prop trading? If you would please make it available to those of us who were unable to attend, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

  4. woohoo! I just bet part of the proverbial farm on the strength of Santa's reindeers against the massive SPX bear drop bushwhack today and won (whew...). Bought a bunch of SPX OOM 1395 Calls near the bottom at 1390 and punched out of half in less than 45 minutes for a huge gain near SPX 1400. Fastest windfall I ever made lol. Jingle bells Jingle bells... toys and goodies to go around for the nephews and nieces this year lol.

  8. But, we'll never hear about it. This is a gloater who shares boring posts and winning trades.

  9. Mark,

You was a MM and familiar with haircut. Why do you trade retail under reg-T and not prop with haircut now?
