    Coach,

I think you're seeing the light.....

    Diagonals ? Credit Spreads?

Is the choice becoming more obvious now?

    coach,

Funny how your adjustment was my suggestion in the previous post.... as I submitted the post and then read your adjustment... it made me chuckle.

You're now experiencing positive expectancy with TONS of potential upside!!!

    Live Long and MORPH!

You'll like them more.... just try a few.... it's where the real value of the strategy lies.

    You see...

as the call diagonal can "MORPH" into a butterfly.... the Put Diagonal side can "MORPH" into a butterfly... or even better, a reverse calendar.

It's difficult to apply the reverse calendar play on the call side.. because typically, volatility spikes to the downside movement.

I hope you're keeping a log of this.... or I'll have to have MO link all this stuff in a few months from now. :)

P.S. It only took six months..... to sell you on the call side.

That's relatively quick compared to some of the people in our trading club.... at least you have an open mind and a will to learn. Some of them are so stubborn.... so difficult.... but that's what makes teaching them all the more challenging.

  10. Phil,

nice credit on your last adjustment. I must admit, i am clueless as to why you chose to offset your short 1340's ATM with 4 days to go. I would've thought you would've waited for the last few days of decay to kick in and given the fact you are short downside gamma, it wasnt to risky for you at this juncture but i am sure that's just optioncoach's finance an adjustment type of thinking i see here. :)
