It's about time that you acknowledge Governor Ron DeSantis tough-on-crime policy isn't working or that no governor regardless of Republican / Democrat can fix the problem.
    • Welcome to the reality of politics...it doesn't matter your political beliefs...trouble makers do not give a fuck.
By the way, Florida is worst than New York in violent crime statistics (see image below). Also, look at the state on top of the hill of violent crimes...a Republican state (Alaska).

Just in case you're curious if those are in-state college students on spring break...

Florida has 2 of the top 10 spring break destinations in the United States. The other 8 springbreak destinations do not have nearly as much crime as Florida during springbreak.

Other Republican candidates for 2024 may weaponize those facts about DeSantis so called tough-on-crime policy during the Republican nomination race.

P.S. Florida for several decades has "welcomed" springbreak individuals because those individuals have money to spend. Travel agents say its great for the tourism economy in Florida although this is what happens when you put more emphasis on money than safety.

Desantis is actually doing a great job. The problem with Miami is that it attracts rappers and gangbanger types whereas the other destinations do not.

Did I read that correctly? Alaska is the most crime-infested state? Wow.

I could not be a good (fair/not bias) judge in that situation.

5 day probation for them at my home...unsupervised. :sneaky:

back in the mid 90s it was. Miami Beach was once the modeling Mecca. Super models, modeling agencies and euro chic. Now it’s the jigs and fake rapper wannabes
