Anaconda: 1,847 posts and you still cannot provide any evidence of trading expertise. Snake oil is all yours, "Anaconda" Two slots filled this past week - both prospects were able check my credentials and independently confirm my value with existing clients who also happen to be ET members. As a matter of fact, I got this email from a client who joined up in December: "Pete, Have only traded 5 times since I increased size... At any rate had a really nice day today...+7K It was a good confidence builder. I am scaling in always showing 2 lots but taking them off 1 at a time because I have no patience...this works for me as I don't get out too soon. " This guy is an ET member who had been trading for a couple of years at a very prominent Chicago prop firm. Anaconda, consider this fair warning: there is no sleight of hand or bad dealings here, and if you keep up the unsubstantiated and slanderous nature of your accusations there are legal consequences. Trolls are part of internet forums, but you have crossed the line, I take it personally, and I can afford lawyers.
I've no reason to doubt you, Bone, but you're loopy if you think Anaconda's comments even remotely approach slander. You're only making yourself look foolish in your response.
Atticus, I have had 26 clients who are ET members. If somehow I was ripping people off or was anything less than I claim, I am positive you would have heard about it by now. My CV checks out. My professional references check out. No liens, bankruptcies, misdemeanors, felonies, divorces, or exchange sanctions. I have an LLC in good standing, with a D-U-N-S registration and an IRS employer identification. My clients love me, and they make money. I insist that every prospect independently speak with two existing clients before they sign a contract with me. In hindsight, you are correct in that I over-reacted to Anaconda. But also look at it from my perspective: I am trying to grow an honest and genuinely useful business in a very slimy and morally bankrupt profession.
I take your point, and will try to be less reactionary. Unfortunately, your statement that 'vendors get a bad rap' is true because at least in trader education it is a richly deserved and well-earned reputation in what amounts to pure theft and lies. There is an educator that wrote a book, sells DVDs, has a website orders of magnitude better than mine, and has appeared on CNBC. Charges twice my rate. Contacts me and wants to do a joint instructional video because, in his words, he was "impressed by the level of detail and knowledge I put out there". Unfreakingbelievable. He claimed a military background with exceptional marksmanship skills, so I was polite when I declined. Atticus, trading education is slimy and toxic and I am just trying to tread hard enough to keep my head above it all and build some sort of little island to crawl up on.
Listen, if you're gonna peddle it, at least go look up what "snake oil" is. Besides that, I am not selling anything or making any claims. My real life status is on a "need to know" basis. I've been around the block and I have posted P&L screenshots years ago. I don't make calls, I have no interest in it or any reason to. And I actually gave you a compliment, in a certain way. You're definitely leagues above Puretick. LOL are you actually threatening me with legal action? Listen, if you could actually afford a lawyer, you might actually find out that your threats are laughable. Keep it up, I'll go get the popcorn.
"snake oil is a term used to describe commercial cryptographic methods and products which are considered bogus or fraudulent" That is not me, and I can provide plenty of hard evidence from clients to the contrary. I do, in fact, provide that evidence to a serious prospect before a contract is entered into. "Defamation involves a false statement about another person that tends to cause them harm." Listen, you have every right to be highly skeptical of trading educators, my point is that in my case I am a notable exception in the swamp. Many thanks for ranking me above PureTick. Imagine my relief. And yes, I can certainly afford a lawyer. Granted, my use for them has been confined to real estate closings, intellectual property filings, private equity prospectus preparation, K-1 partnership agreements, and business contracts.
the reality is, this vendor makes many unproven self claims, but when he came on this board, he was throwing around lawyer threats at a few people; I am surprised anyone is taking an irrational person with a major chip on his shoulder seriously.
TZ....I have seen your threat's and negative attitude. Curious as what you do bro? 6600 posts in 2 years? All bashing......right? Bro that is 16 posts a day!!! You seem to have a lot of time on your hands. Do you trade in the "zone". Or are you getting served milk by your Mom? Make sure you get her at least flowers Sunday. TZ...you are the most negative, degrading handle here. Yet, you post nothing about you. Nor your "trials and tribulations" in trading/investing. I assume you have blown up many-of-times and want to blame everyone else about it. Yes, you are thinking correctly: That I am right.
