Big D (as he's affectionately known to TJ):

Unprovoked, out of nowhere, you decide to attack me on a personal basis.

A thread lays dormant for days, and then, TJ is not available so you start hitting on me?

Wow, in a polite way he asked you if you can trade and produce a profit or not, and you spew venom and hate. You're not making a very good image for yourself.

More newbies just need to use more common sense. Go ahead and assume everything he says is true. And he has out performed people like Peter Lynch. Do you have any idea of the kind of salaries that awesome traders get from firms? The head oil trader for Citi's pay check for one year was over 100 million dollars.

Now this Citi oil trader is a truly successful trader. He is not lying. And guess what. Are you surprised that he doesn't have a website and offer coaching? Are you surprised that he doesn't come onto elite trader and fight and curse the locals?

Of course he doesn't do these things. This is because he' successful as what he does. Even if he no longer wanted to trade in any way what so ever, a trading firm would pay him huge sums of money to consult and coach.

So, it's hard to believe he's such a success if he acts like such a failure. Just sit back and put 2 and 2 together folks.

There are plenty of free and reliable sources to learn about the markets. If you do want to find a mentor, don't take one that sells on the internet, that's just dumb. Find a person who is a trader, and approach them. They're probably not going to be interested in your money, because they're successful traders. But use your most positive energy to offer to do something in exchange, or just simply ask if they'll show the ropes a bit.

Successful people enjoy helping others. Just be smart about it.

    4422:

There is nothing polite about Big D.

I will gladly exchange bona fides in private confidence with a serious prospect.

I offer my clients much more personal information and references than Linda Bradford Raschke or Pete Steidelmeyer.

I am the most transparent trading educator available for a prospect who is willing to engage in serious and private discussion.

I'm waiting for Linda Bradford Raschke to pay for an ET sponsorshop. Or Pete Steidelmeyer. I'm sure that they would satisfy the trolls - just check out their published CVs.

I've never understood why verification should be kept secret? What's the big secret? I don't get it.

I don't know about Linda, but I do know one thing. You don't see her on here cursing people, and begging for clients.

To post on Elite Trader, the member should show an active clearing account balance of at least $100K.

I've gotten a few PMs of late asking if I'd start a traders website where there was paid membership and a bona fides threshold like an active trading account with capitalization requirements beyond retail punting.

But you don't even have such a thing? You're a joker, and people here are happy to expose you for who you are.

  10. I think it is time to call on this site's ownership to consider canceling the advertising account of this guy. I assume that advertising does not give one the right to insult others, and to make posts that are irrelevant to the discussion such as some posts that appeared in a thread I started on the topic "trading and coin flipping".

It is also important to check whether insults are being used as a means to get the insulted to make more posts, so that there is more exposure to advertising.

If a person wants more exposure, is there not a different form of advertising on this site? I guess it would cost more.
