depending on the time of day and the orderflow the spread can be under 2 cents in silve futures other times when some market participants are afraid of more "monkey business" ( i.e. if there was a spike up or down in the price of silver a minute or two ago prior ) the spread can be alot wider than Oandas until the market calms down
Where can I check current difference between the best bid and the best ask? I checked cbot site, cme, liffe but I don't see that.
here ya go mind you this time of evening in the EST USA the spread is wide and volume thin esp with the forex movement in the last few hours up and down 12.71 X 12.72 1/2 basis dec futures in SI ( comex )

Only 1 cent during active trading hours. Often just half a cent. Get a real broker and see for yourself.
Screw all the other suggestions. Use nymexdata.cme.com . You can watch the live quotes for yourself and see the book and spreads for free for oil, nat gas, gold, silver and handful of others.
