SPOT FX Price available in IB Demo ?

I'm looking at it right now. Can only find FX Futures...

 

Have you tried loading FX Trader, there's a User Guide too.

You can also get spot quotes in the TWS main window.

 

Be aware that IB demo is only to show how TWS works, the prices shown are not realistic.

Been told by IB the TWS DEMO doesn't feed real-time spot FX prices.

Find that a little hard to believe....

Cable - Whats the SPOT FX symbol on TWS for EURUSD? Loading it under configuration > CASH does nothing?!

 

Spot prices on IB TWS are separated by a period, i.e. EUR.USD. If you LOOKED on their web page first under product listings you could have found all the relevant info you needed!

 

IB has realtime Forex quotes on their homepage, just compare the realtime quotes with the demo quotes. IB is known to have noncurrent data in their TWS demo. The IB TWS papertrader has real data, but doesn't give realistic fills on paper trades.
