I'm gonna go ahead and call BS right there. A "miniscule" 2200 shares net long huh? So you had some shorts on too then? What, about 3000 long and 800 short or something? Yeah, holding 3000 shares over the weekend is pretty "miniscule" alright. What do you normally do? Five, ten times that? 20,000 shares overnight huh? Where one point puts you out $20k? So you're trading, what, about $million - $2milion+ account then huh? I bet my left nut there's not person on this site trading an account that big. And if there is, I'll bet my right one it's not someone with 2000+ posts under his name. But what do I know, I'm just some piker that's never taken a thousand shares home...
alfonso, nitro trades penny stocks. so he prob had all of $500 bucks committed long like that other poster said. of course i can't be sure about this but one thing i do know he doesn't trade size like his sig says. his balls just aren't that big
3 NQ is the equivalent to 2400 QQQ. I'm a small trader and I don't flinch at having 3-5 on at night (although I'd prefer to not have 5 lots go 40 pts in my face!) Nitro tosses some size around during the day so I'm not at all skeptical that he'd lay down a 2-4k bet.
To me it was quite a scene - watching the Minister giving a war press conference to a few dozen reporters while the building was shaking from the laser guided bombs blowing up around them.
2200 shares of a $20 stock is less than $50,000. I think that is the minimum capital required to daytrade.
