"spirituality" videos - Part II

  1. It just occured to me that some people MIGHT believe that vipassana and other Buddhist retreats are enough , and allow one to avoid the clinical pychiatrist.
Sorry to disappoint : these are complementary activities. :D :D :D
I really don't understand why traders ( and people generally) absolutely want to avoid the clinical psy.
hmmm... I am actually glad to notice that back home, the new government has now a policy of offering free psychology sessions, and even promoting shows with strong psychological understanding content. :).

Do as much clinical psy sessions as possible to go through the full list of :

    - crap you've done.
    - crap done to you.

the vipassana are no replacements for clinical psy. One still needs to deal with "conceptualising" how the human mind works.

  2. I am actually thinking of practicing what the coach has done on me to the "people who need the most help" and try to level the playing field out there in this way.
I am really stunned that this is not taught in a more widespread way.
There have been so many things really. I am glad I kept religiously a journal of the various activities.
I'll need to discuss that with the coach.

  3. I am very glad one dear person has found his freedom. :)
One person actually realized someone saved their life. :)
Another one is seeing the solution to some discipline/addiction problem. :)

    Nice to hear good news.

  4. I am actually toying with opening a trading firm, with light salary to attract the type of people I have in mind, so that I can get them through the same type of coaching without them realizing what it is all about. :D :D :D .
This must be the best way to give back.

  6. This work never finishes. I have to get my list of volunteering activities.
Nothing left to chance really. I am glad I can see where every bit fit in this
pychology/spirituality work : removing the weeds, clearing, planting, irrigating,
    checking the weather,...

Time to go and relax as tomorrow is the first day of the month :
honour to EU & GU. :D

  7. The psychology/spiritual work is still going on.
Just now, the effects on trading has been :
    - no excitement rush before the trading session
    - entering the trades just following what behaviours I wanted to see that I rehearsed all week in my mind.

Made few mistakes : I really could not just keep a ridiculously small size on a really really really in my views good trade. It worked out OK, but obviously that is not a good pattern. I was not feeling excited at all when I increased the size, my thoughts were "that's a ridiculous size. This is a perfect trade, the risk is tiny on all aspects...".

Now just finished my day session. Glad I got flat above my targets.
I was actually surprised to look to the total profits. Just shows.
Now, I am even happier to go and enjoy part of it this afternoon.
    Trading per se finished.
Now, I will use that to buy up these "mamas" selling stuff near the underground and make their day a very good one. Share the joy of trading profitably. :) :) :)

  8. First time I come across someone allergic to:

     learning everyday.

  9. Yesterday afternoon exercise was interesting.

I learned that losing trading days is ridiculous.

I'd rather give the money to some "mama" selling her good late at night, or loaning it to some people on kiva. Rather than throwing the money away via losing in trading.

When trading, I only see a number, but I do not realize that it is real money, and it has real value : just watching the beneficiaries' reactions yesterday was a kind of "reality check".

I have to start respecting money.
I really wonder where/how I learned this total disrespect for money.
I think also the problem with trading is once one gets it, etc... suddenly the money made
is really disproportional to the effort or pain-input to generate it.

I think I have a problem with that : the money made in trading is too easy.

  10. I don't think I am going to trade for me, but more to trade and distribute a good chunk of the profits. Otherwise I can't see myself being comfortable with the trading profits.
It is too disproportionate. I feel a bit revolted that here one can in few hours generate more than one year of a hard-worker salary. I don't really give a sh*t about the risk of trading.
There is no real risk in trading : the only reason for people to lose in trading is because they, deep down, want to lose the money.
