Yea, they didn't charge, and were very successful for a few years. Midwest Airlines. Originally a subsidary of Kimberly Clark and had a sucessful IPO. Premium product at a premium price, until it didn't work. And yes, the problem now is these airlines have ticket prices at a discount, and are trying to make it up on bags. They trained people for this, and ours was not the only airline that didn't charge for 1 2, or yes, even 3 extra bags. I was there, saw it and didn't agree with it then. Now these idiots don't get to add it to the price. They colude on price pretty much due to internet availability anyway.
I recently had a bad price gouging experience with Spirit. $160 advertised price for a solo minor got jacked to $532.
