For what reason the CME Grains/Oilseeds have a spike in volume between 13:14:00 and 13:15:00 ET? During these two minutes the daily settlement price gets calculated but it does not look to me that this fact alone can justify an increase in volume so big. By chance during this time range does a price fixing or any other data gets published to cause a spike in volume? Thank you for your help.
http://www.reuters.com/article/cme-futures-sessions-idUSL1N0YU28H20150608 Looks like the market "closes" at 13:15 but there is a post session trading for 5 mins after. Then electronic trading is shut until much later. Big volume at the close of any market is normal behavior.

I think you are right, the spike in the volume during the settlement period is probably due to the Trading At Settlement (TAS) orders. Thank you for your help.
