The code ClickBank generates for you is the HTML href link code that takes the viewer to other sites or webpages within your site. In this case it's a link to the site selling products with YOUR ClickBank ID to credit you with any sales. You can paste that code anywhere on your site. More info on HTML links here: http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_links.asp I recommend you change the "Click Here!" text to something more descriptive such as "The Home Brewers Ultimate Recipe Book" to give an idea what the person will be viewing before they click on the link. forex-forex
OK, I got the domain name to link on my "resources" page, so that works fine. Takes you directly to the website. The hoplink on the other hand, I have no clue what to do with. If I try and link it, the only choices I have are: another website a page in my site an email address a document or other file ------------- Nothing is mentioned about hoplinks. When I paste it anywhere in the page, it's just script that sits there not doing anything. In bigass font too. EDIT: And anyways, why do I even need a hoplink if I already have the sellers website linked? Oh, wait... I think I just figured it out while typing. The hoplink is a trace code isn't it? I still don't know what to do with it.
They say sex sells, and I think that sex is still one of the biggest business on the Internet. Adult Friend Finder just raised its affiliate commission to $130 PER SIGN UP. This is a huge company that knows exactly how much a customer is worth to them, which is why they are willing to pay so much to get one. In any event, I've not ever promoted porn because I don't know anything much about the business (except being an "occassional" (caugh, caugh) consumer. In any case, I have heard that some people are making some very good money promoting with on Youtube now that youtube has paid ads.
Please remember this is NOT the ideal solution that I cover in this video. It's simply the easy, quick and dirty one. It'll do for now if you really can't wait to get started. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Uo6Zuf076Qw&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Uo6Zuf076Qw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Thanks Brandon. OK guys, still major problems with the hoplink. I copied it into my note pad, then linked it in my website. But now, instead of linking to the seller, it links to my file in notepad! WTF??
Do not edit the ClickBank generated code at all, except for the Click Here! part. And it must be inside a properly coded html page. The notepad file should be saved as index.html, and when you click on it your browser should launch. I recommend you read up on HTML/CSS. forex-forex
No luck. FUCK! Now when I enter the tinyURL on to my site, it takes me back to the TinyURL website. FUCK! Do I even need that fuckin hoplink? Isn't the actual domain name script the exact same thing? I have NO problems linking the domain name. EDIT: Forex can you or anyone explain to me the difference/purpose between the domain name and the hoplink? I read through that other stuff you linked to earlier and was like looking at Japanese.
That was obvious from the beginning. Publicity from "Learn from Brandon Fredrickson" - "GURU". That is all this was ever about, self-publicity, traffic, emails, future customers. Sorry Brandon, you are not the only one to have a web business or do web marketing. Article writing! Ezine! Affiliates! Inbound Links! Post on forums! Using Youtube and Myspace! Use catchy headings!!! Link Exchanges! The stuff you are promoting is exactly what he said - high amounts of work for minimal payoff. Except of course, that it is your name that gets lots of airing. You are the person selling gold panning equipment to 49ers convinced they will find their fortune in California. You methods on EliteTrader are free publicity measures for Brandon 101
<b><i>The Dreamers Curse! </b> </i> I want to talk about something I call the curse of dreamers. This mistake is so easy to make you have almost certainly made it at least once, and you might be making it right now. Because of the dirty tricks that Internet Guru's use it's almost impossible not to fall for it at least once. You might be making this mistake right now!...and if you are it might cause you to give up at your business right before success comes into view. Click here for your special report on the dirty tricks the guru's are using to take advantage of your dreams! <b> This is too long to use is an adsense ad, but I just showed you how you can get nearly every member of a target audience to go to the link you want to bring them too. </B> See how easy that was..your gonna read on now arent you. If I was trying to bring you to my website, and I was going to make you give me your email address to get this report, you can damn well bet you'd give it up. My friend tried a version of this headline a few years ago and was actually able to get 70% of his clickthroughs to give him their valid home phone number and address. </b> Ok..so the mistake. If I was wanting to collect your info and turn you on I'd make this a very long report...which is easy enough to do if your long winded. I'd turn it into ten pages where I'd blame everyone but you for your not having success right now with your business. It's you and me against them! We are a team man! We are the good guys, those other people suck! Here is the quick n dirty version of the curse. <b>They mistake Gross Profit's for net profits </b> (I'd then go on to explain for two paragraphs what the difference is..you guys are a bunch of traders so if I have to explain this too you.............). Id also explain to them how this simple mistake steals dreams, makes wives leave honest hard working guys, turns good kids into crack addicted old lady purse grabbin thugs and dogs die...and none of it is your fault! (This is the important part...its NEVER their fault..ever ever ever ever ever..even when they are so stupid it obviously is). Here is how this mistake is made by the new entrepreneur and taken advantage of by the guru. Let's look at a product I've been selling with a friend on an affiliate network (Not CB). It is all about the coming change to digital TV and what you should do if you still live amongst cave men. It's 44 pages long and sells for $27. We have sold 1600 copies of the report. Thats a gross of about $43,200. I could easily now write a report: How a non guru made over $43,200 in 3 months selling a none IM product to desperate buyers in 3 1/2 months. That's all tru btw. That sounds pretty attractive to the average person (and I'm not complaining). If I wanted to create a product off making $43,200 with that product it would be VERY easy to record an hour or so of videos and write up a 60 to 70 page "case study" infoproduct. I could probably sell it for $49 to $99 depending on how the overall market is at that time, how good my sales copy is etc. Now, the thing I wouldnt be talking about in that headline is my expences to create the product. First of all I did not write the report, nor did my partner. We hired a professional writer in the Philippines and paid her $600 to do the research and create the product. We paid $6500 + 7 1/2% of GROSS sales to a professional copywriter to ensure a sales site that pulls. This ads $9750 to my expences. I paid $750 to have the site made. I pay $14.15 to the affiliate, the affiliate network and the merchant card. This adds another $22,650 to my costs. All told making that $43,200 has cost me about $34,000 to my make. This means the NET for the product (Ie the money that goes into my pocket and I can spend without digging myself into a hole) is about $9000 before my uncle reaches into my pocket and passes on his cut to greedy/stupid executives in NY and Detroit. Now, for about 5 total hours of work and 3 1/2 months I'll take it, but as you can see the difference between my net and my gross is pretty large. The HUGE mistake that people make is thinking that the Gross is the net....<b>IT AINT</b>
