BTW, it aint easy to fit AIDA into 25 charators and 35 charators. But, I'm confident that if you put your thinking cap on you can do it.

Also, the best place to get ideas for headlines, I swear to god im not kidding, is supermarket tabloids. I buy them all the time to read the headlines because they are exactly the kind of crap that makes your ads pull like crazy.

Last free tip on adwords. You only have a few lines to work with. You should try to make your landing page name a call to action in and of itself if you can. So lets say your selling something that will make people live seven years longer. Well if you can get sevenextrayears or something like that and have it fit in the URL box your going to be golden. The more action taking you can inspire, or the more intest you can inspire, the better you shall be. You should not probably in most cases put your brand name as the display. Again make it a URL. Lets use another example and say that you are in the make money from home..well maybe you can get www.ifiredmyboss.com

I think you get the point.

PS. Have I mentioned the content network before?
PPS. I do not own ANY of the URL's mentioned above and will not benefit from anything you do with them. Furthermore since I dont own them I really dont give a darn as to how the owner MIGHT or might not benefit from me mentioning his or her URL on ET.

The fact of the matter is he might actually suffer because google now punishes you for having backlinks from sites that have nothing to do with what you do. So..take that sparky!

Protect Your Credit With Your Life

Because of my ChexSystems "victims" business I often have the opportunity to come into direct people who have put themselves in a position that companies to prey upon then, and they have little choice other then to work with those companies.

Protecting your good credit is an important part of your life and of keeping your household costs down. Everything from Credit Card Internet Payments, your mortgage to your Insurance premiums are effected by your credit score. The lower your credit, the higher your costs. If your credit score get's too bad your costs go through the roof, probably at the time you can least afford for them to do so.

If protecting your good credit is important in your life, it's at least as important with your online business. You see if you have a "real" offline business not taking credit cards is not going to be a deal killer. It's going to make things more difficult to be sure, but it is not something that will bacically put the likelyhood of you not being able to remain in business at 100%. The thing is, online, nearly every single transaction is done by CC. Because levels of fraud are so high banks are very cautious about who they give online merchant accounts too, and if there is the slightest problem with your credit, your either not getting one, or your paying out the nose for it.

When I say paying out the nose I mean really getting nailed. I've heard of credit card processors charging up to 7.5% to process a transaction and then holding up to 1/3 of the billed amount in reserve for up to six months. I'm sure you can imagine the cash flow crunch it would cause your business if you are aking your sales and right off the bat have to pay 7 1/2% to make the sale and then you do not even see 1/3 of the money for 6 months. Thirty Three percent is a respectable profit margin, so they might very well be withhold everything that goes into your pocket as well as the monehy that could be used to expand.

There are a couple of options like PayPal and Clickbank available, but both have severe limitations.

The next area of credit I want to talk about is your Google Credit score. You see google gives you traffic on credit. They send you the traffic now and then bill you for it later. Google does keep track of how often your credit card payments come back as "denied". You have to keep in mind that even though Google is a huge company at the core it is no different then any other business in that if it does not get paid for the services it provides it can not stay in business (funny that the rest of the valley kid crowd still seems to not be picking up on that...but Google has learned that lesson to be sure). The big thing here to keep in mind is to just carefully budget your google spending. I actually have one Credit Card that the only thing that comes out of it is my PPC campaigns from Google, Youtube, Ask, MSN and Yahoo.

PS. If anyone has comments, questions or suggestions please give them to me. I'm making this information available for free on ET in exchange for FEEDBACK.

  5. I'll add a thank you also! I've been telling our schools athletic board, that I am a part of, that I think I can set up so the website I have for them could produce at least a bit of income to put into athletics. I've been saying it for a year now, and just haven't gotten to taking the time to learn how, but I have begun reading through and watching your ideas and I think I'm getting a handle on it and how to get started. I will need to filter what I put up as it is for a Catholic school. I have a feeling I'd be banished and flogged if I put up some of the stuff, like penis enlargement. LOL :D

  8. Of course Brandonf is gaming the ET system and pretending to be altruistic. All his name dropping of other web sites, using splashy self-directed subjects are classic spamming techniques and FREE rep & traffic building. I know much about web marketing and promotion. But the people running EliteTrader are too stupid to figure it out. After trying through Complain and posts a couple dozen times, it was obvious that Brandon neither has integrity nor concern about bending the Terms of Service to his advantage, and EliteTrader as a business allows people who bend the rules.

So spammers, come here! ET is open for free advertising and self-promotion, as long as you are a little clever.

Waste your time, trying to become a web mogul with Brandon's "valuable methods" You will discover after a lot of time and some money that it is a fool's errand. But in the meantime, Brandon will build his rep (and thus, web presence) making you think that his "helping you: is really his attempt to avoid paying a proper sponsorship fee

That is why they let idiots like B&B Analytics and Tim Sykes (who trashed this as a reputable place for a month+ sponsorship each) and Jack Hershey drone on and on and on and on and on. A few bucks is worth more than having a reputation as a reliable & professional trading forum

  10. Number 1, try and treat others with respect, rather than trying to figure out how to lift their wallet.

Number 2, when you are trying to seem altruistic, don't become a cliche for "Building Your Online Rep Via Loud Self-Aggrandizing Titles" 101 and "How to Sneak In Other Websites and Business Interests While Pretending to Teach Others" 201 and "Traffic Building the Sneaky Way" 301. You are one of the most obvious web marketing monkeys I have ever seen. I have read the ezines, web marketing, analytics and other garbage till it came out my ears. You are as convincing as an umbrella salesman during a Category 5 Cyclone.

Number 3, when you blow your own horn, stop sounding like an entire brass ensemble. Your main interest is building the Brandon brand. You don't come across as a teacher as much as you come across as someone desparate to build an online reputation without properly compensating the site owners.

That about covers it for now.
