Do Not Promote These Products Clickbank has a couple of satellite TV over the Internet Products for sale. A few words of warning about them. First of all they are shitty products, so don't buy them for yourself or your family. Second they are illegal products. Every single one of them steal the signals and violates copyright laws like crazyness. If you get caught promoting them you can be held liable for HUGE amounts of damages. Not only that but as soon as google or yahoo or msn catch you promoting them (which only takes a couple days) they will ban your account. This means you can NEVER use MSN, Yahoo or Google's PPC service again from the same physical address, email address, IP address and CC. They take down all of this info and pretty much totally screw you over for ever. I have a couple of friends who had profitable affiliate business going and a few who did a combo of affiliate and their own products. In three cases I know of people who really have no idea what they are going to do now since all of their site's (ragardless of having had anything to do with the satellite crap) have now been banned by the PPC's engines and in some cases taken out of the organic results as well, and they are not able to sign up with another CC. A couple of these products have good gravity and look like they could be promising, but please avoid them like the plague that they are because they will destroy your internet business opportunity before it even starts if you get caught up with them.
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. People always have this objection about building a list. "Brandon, I'd love to build an online empire but I ain't got no list and I aint got no money to build one". Well, lemme give you the poor man's secret weopon. It's called twitter. When I first saw twitter I thought it was the most stupid thing on earth. In fact I still find it kinda stupid, but I've made enough money from it now that I forgive it for being stupid. Here is the thing with twitter. Twitter "etique" means that if someone follows you, then you follow them back. Even if you have no damn clue who this person is and what the hell they want with you. The sheeple on twitter have this rule that if you don't follow people back your a god damn twitter snob, and the worst thing in the twitter world you can be aside from a twitter spammer is a twitter snob. Now the great thing about twitter is this. You can steal everyone's friggin list. Let's say you want to build up your stock picking list. You know what you do..you go friend Jim Cramer or Tim Sykes or someone like that and then you find every single person who has friended them. You pick about 15 people per day (don't go overboard or it's obvious...if your following like 100 people and only 20 have gotten around to following you back your not going to get any followers...so start slow, just follow 5 or 6 people at first. Then pick up a few more per day. Once you have about 50 followers then pick up about 10 more per day, once your up to a hundred do about 15 etc.) Now you have to clean your list up every now and then coz of this ratio thing. There are programs that will show you who you are following but is not following you back. If you have been following them for about a month and they don't follow you back take em off your list unless you have a strong reason to be on it. There you go, inside one month you can EASILY have 100 people on your list, and by month two probably about 400/500 and by month three it feeds on itself and you will probably be over 1000. Now the secret is that you cant treat twitter or twitter people like a newfound free spambot (which it basically is). That pisses people off. Twitter is primarily a social thing. So, you do social stuff there. You make friends, like at a party. Think of a twitter as a party. If your kid does something funny, tell the story. It's friggin cold and your left nut fell off, tell people. In about 1 out of 7 or 8 posts put a link to your site. Even that few will piss a lot of people off, but at that point if they are pissed they are not buyers anyway so fuck em. There you go. Go build your free list. Twitter really is the closest thing to 1997 on the Internet that there is.
I guess I will expand on this a bit. It's important to note that in our fucked up court system you could basically put a lawsuit against a ham sandwhich if you wanted too. You can find enough dumb ass examples of lawsuits on Google to make yourself sick. So- yes it is important to have disclaimers, but also realize that it's not going to stop a real jackass from slamming you with court papers. Your best solution once you have some dollars to your name is an offshore Corp and have all of that setup by a good asset protection attorney.
lol, for example just noticed I was being charged $3 per click...good thing spending limit was at $8!
I get the money from those clicks. Did you notice that they click, come, but then immediately leave? Most likely they disappear from your site in less than a minute. Ponder what I wrote. They are words from person with experience, and who gets money from those clicks. If you do not, once the free money you got from google will run out, it will be live bullets from your account. Most likely it will be around the time you will stop, and maybe turn to preachers and start insulting and calling it a scam. Just like in trading. PS: Like other things in life, things that start with buying first and selling later do not turn a profit. I prefer to sell first, and buy later. As scammer like to say "I will let you in on a secret", I would say "I just gave you a little secret". Once you hit the real difficulties in internet money, contact me via PM.
There are always going to be scammers, and there is not much that any of us really have the power to do anything about. I'd say about 5 to 10% of the traffic I get is BS, but that's life. Google does a pretty good j ob of keeping it to a minimal level as does Yahoo and MSN, but again it can't be avoided to some degree. It's also not something that I find has a huge effect.
