For some mystery reason Viddler is just running slow as mud this evening for me. Video has been uploading for about 40 minutes and just crossed over being half finished. They must have a lot of people uploading stuff right now.
As a viewer I prefer YouTube. Why not keep your videos shorter than 10 minutes and use YouTube? forex-forex
An actual, real life, practical, info product idea that you could turn into profits This is one I have actually researched - but I have decided to give the idea away. It's an idea that is probably worth about $5,000 to $15,000 per year net to a person who could develop the right information product. Remember this...always remember this I only want desperate buyers. This is such an important point that there is no way I can overstate how truly important it is. When you have a desperate buyer you have won 3/4 of the battle by the time the person lands on your web page. There is very little left for you to do but kindly suggest that you have the solution, the end to the pain. Oh sure you have to play it up in your copy, and offer subtle hints at the glory of the secret you are going to reveal to them. And if you happen to be a flyer who is frequently hit with gas attacks, it is mortifying..you want to be rid of the shit...and I'm sure your neighbors would appriciate it too. This, like the Chex Victims businesss and the new Digital TV info is not one that needs to go through the CB testing system I detail in tonights video (which is still as I type uploading). I have done the research on it though, there are only a few people who are compeating with you and I suspect it could be, as I said a $5000 to $15,000 per year net business if done right. This would be a product you could go on selling for years to come, and even sell after you achieve or two or three year track record with it. If you build it up to the high end of say $12,000 to $15,000 profit per year you could likely sell it for $50,000 to $80,000 cash. The entire process of making this product, developing your business model and sales process and sales copy would likely take you 15 to 25 hours and cost $2000 to $5000.
Because a lot of the information I will be giving can not be covered in the detail in needs to be covered in with a 10 minute timeframe limit. From start to finish when this "minicourse" is done it is likely to be 6 to 12 hours of material. Don't worry, you won't need nearly that much to get started..but my intention is to build up to eventually to very advanced stuff..things other people are charging thousands of dollars for that I will be giving away. As a marketer Youtube is good and bad. It's great in that a ton of people use Youtube, its horrible though for the suggested videos at the end of the file as well as the search icon at the top. I actually know a code that will turn them both off, but that would violate youtubes TOS and I'm sure it wouldnt take me long to get banned if I used it too many times. The last reason is simply that the quality of the videos is better on viddler then on Youtube, and viddler allows you to upload more video types.
The Reason Why Ive actually just come to a realization and I'm quit embarressed with myself. Let me explain. When you are making a request of a person, or making a special offer to a person you should always provide a reason why. Why? Simply that people want to know why you are doing what you are doing, and when you tell them your response goes up like crazy. I'll give you a few real life examples. This is from a University Study. A girl goes to a very busy line to copy some papers and asks people if she can cut in front of them. She acts very rushed but does not mention it. When she does not provide a "reason why" its about a 50/50 proposition for people to let her cut in front of the line. However, if she simply modifies the request as follows...."May I cut in front of you because I'm in a rush" then in nearly all cases the people let her cut. Now...here is something that is actually pretty amazing...just saying "the reason why" seems to have a very powerful effect..in fact so powerful really all she has to say is "because". The researchers tried this next: "May I cut in line because I have to make these copies" Well, having provided a "reason why" instead of simply saying "may I cut in line" just as many people let her cut simply because she needed to make copies (SO DID THEY!!!!!!!) as did because she was in a hurry. Pretty amazing, and if you look around you will see that almost all the good sales letters include some sort of "why". (please note that I might be slightly off in the numbers as I'm simply recalling them off the top of my head...in any event I'm not far off on them and the important points I recall exactly) Another study in London a fellow was on the bridge trying to give away 5 pound notes. Most people actually refused to take them thinking it was some sort of scam. The researchers then modify the study by providing people with a "reason why" (I'm sorry that off the top of my head I can not recall what it was...it was something very simple though..but not just because), and once they did that nearly everyone took the 5 pounds. Pretty neat stuff. So what's that got to do with us and why I feel so stupid? Well of course I havent really given you any reason why I'm giving away all this great info have I? TraderZones is certain I have some neferous plan in store for you all, and you know what they say if one person expresses an opinion. I don't know why this never even occured to me until just now. So, with that in mind tomorrow I will tell you all exactly why I am giving you all of this great and potentially life changing information, all for free and without even asking for so much as your email addresses (it has nothing to do with feeling guilty) ..I'm getting very tired (and just about ready to kill Viddler) Brandon
At Long Last! Module #2. Picking a Product to Promote. (Please accept my apology for the delay. The bonus module on the business outline mindmap is still upload...but I'm going to bed. You can check my viddler videos and once its up it will show..but I'm going to just have to post the link in the am. http://www.viddler.com/explore/bastiat29/videos/15/ btw ET seems to be just about the only site on the net that wont embed Viddlers videos. I'm not sure why. PS. There is some weird background noise in here on this video, I'm not sure what it is since I had the TV off etc. Anyway it's not very noticable if the volume isnt terribly high, ill see if I can go back and edit the file to fix that though somehow.
Last thing I'm going to share with you this evening. Responseink is probably the most successful copy writing firm ever in the history of financial information. They have been responsible for over $1billion worth of sales for various financial newsletters, seminars and expos (including MoneyShow, who owns the Traders Expo). Anyway they have a newsletter they put out for those of us geeks who are interested in the process of creating salesletters and whatnot, and I am nothing if not a geek. Now, this is all some common sense stuff, but you would be shocked at just how rare common sense is. Appeal to Your Prospectsâ Core Beliefs, Values and Traditions Every human being you meet is a bundle of beliefs â and everything youâll ever say to him or her will be filtered through those beliefs before being accepted as fact. Contradict any one of those beliefs, and your sales argument grows weaker. Contradict enough of them, and your credibility is shot. Conversely, acknowledging and using prospectsâ pre-existing beliefs to reason with them can be one of the most powerful persuasion strategies youâll ever use. Here in the U.S., for example, the older prospects I appeal to in promotions for investment, finance and health products, tend to hold many common beliefs, values and traditions. Beginning in elementary school, nearly all of us were taught the principles America was founded upon: Belief in a Moral Authority that is greater than ourselves; greater, even, than our government ⦠the belief that all people should be considered equal in terms of their rights and responsibilities under law ⦠that we have an inherent right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness ⦠that we have the right to benefit from our own labor and to own property ⦠and that have the right to say any damn thing that comes to mind, any damn time we damn well feel like it. In addition, the vast majority of Americans over 50 were raised in the Judeo-Christian tradition. Most attended church or synagogue at some point in their lives (often when they were most impressionable, as children) â and many of the beliefs and values they hold today are rooted in that experience. Itâs hard to go wrong appealing to their shared sense of right and wrong ⦠their belief that they should treat others as they want to be treated ⦠that honesty is always the best policy ⦠in owning up for their mistakes and making things right ⦠in their responsibility to provide for loved ones ⦠in their obligation to forgive others, to care for the needy, defend the defenseless and more. And of course, they tend to believe that anyone who doesnât believe in all of these things as fervently as they do is a scoundrel and therefore completely unworthy of their trust. Connecting your sales appeal to any of these shared beliefs may well be the single most powerful way to persuade prospects to read your message, to agree with your propositions and to perform the action you ask of them. Itâs kind of like marketing jujitsu, when you think about it: Your prospectâs beliefs already have him headed in the direction you want him to go. Your sales message just helps him get there faster. Take a promotion for a financial product, for example ⦠Iâve found that headlines using Biblical phrases are a powerful way to communicate volumes in just a few words: A headline I used, âThe Four Horsemen of The Stock Market Apocalypseâ was an obvious play on a passage from the Book of Revelation and had enormous visceral appeal for prospects. The copy â a somewhat shocking exercise in free speech â was pregnant with indictments of powerful politicians and bureaucrats who routinely violate my prospectsâ sense of right and wrong and patriotism by setting America up for an economic Armageddon. Results: Millions mailed. Millions in sales. Hundreds of thousands in royalties. Happy copywriter. Deliriously happy client. Think: In what ways does your product connect with your prospectâs core beliefs, values and traditions? Make those connections in your sales messages and watch your response soar! ----------- Clayton is really one of the smartest copywriters out there. Pick this apart, the best thing to do is to actually try to use it right away. Now, like I've said earlier I'm not a very good long copy writter (over 10 pages). I think you guys have all seen my ADD can know why that is. However, I am a very good email copywriter and short form copy writer, I've actually had clients pay me a lot of money before to write them sales letters and simple email autoresponders, that is to say upfront fee plus a percent of sales....so I do have a little bit of authority on this subject...though not much..but seriously..if you want to learn that skill for yourself and avoid having to spend tens of thousands of dollars to have a professional write your sales letters (and when your starting out not many people have that kind of money laying around) then do that. Read this and just create a product in your mind..anything..it could be a financial product since all of you have experience with that. Then just use this topic and write a short sales letter, it doesnt have to be more then 1 or 2 pages. I'll even make a deal with ya, anyone who takes the time to write a two page sales letter using this above idea and rewrites it at least once so that its something they are at least not totally embarressed by can send it to me and I'll critique it for you and help you improve it. Brandon Ps...think about your audiance in this one though (I have a post way back at the start of this thread on building that avatar) before you write this. You have to realize who you want to connect most powerfully too, and then cast the rest aside. So, if your appealing to the over 50 crowd, the above is what your going to do. However, let's say you are appealing to a younger crowd of traders, say 30 years old or younger. My guess is that while using it with the 50 + crowd could make you very wealthy very quickly, trying the same thing on the 30 - crowd would make you very poor very quickly. So...always think things through a bit, plan it out, consider your goal and your target, then just start writting....it's actually a lot of fun once you get into it. And, a good sales letter will make you a shit load of money. I once wrote a letter that converted 44% of a list of 1100 traders at an average of $860 each. How happy do you think that made the client? (thats my best result ever btw...my best result ever for myself was 39% on a list I had a good sized list I had a relationship with, and 6.4% on cold sales)
Awesome video Brandon, exactly the kind of info I'm looking for. Can't wait to see a keywords one. Thanks again.
Check this out! My dad told me that his friend John's client Deb told him that she heard from her 2nd cousin Dave that he heard from his ex wife's step brother's cousin's half brother that people are makin some serious loot on EBAY! Of course I had to investigate this rumor for myself, and if turned out to be false I was gonna turn the file over to officer TraderZones of the Federal Department of Internet Consumer Knowledge so that he could crack the case wide open. Turns out though I did find a small gliche in ebay (that probably won't last forever, so don't hang your hat on it) that has been doing pretty well for me though and I figured I'd make a video and share it with you folks. You can use this gliche to promote your own products, generate leads or sell your clickbank products on ebay. Now, here is the thing about ebay. Let me start out saying I'm not Ebay expert or guru. In fact until about 2 1/2/3 months ago I'd never even bought anything on Ebay, much less sold something there. However, when a very good friend of mine told me about his friend who he had varified was making over $3million in sales and nearly $750,000 in profit's on Ebay my ears perked up "just a tad" and I went out to explore ebay. I've still not managed to make money the "old fashioned ebay way", but this gliche I'm gonna show you could make some of you a nice little chunk of change before breakfast tomorrow if you have the right mix of luck and hard work, and make a nice chunk with in the next month without even having to have any of the luck. The video is uploading right now and as soon as it's up you'll have the link. Brandon Ps. All of the Youtube fans out there rejoice! This clip is under 10 minutes long so I'm uploading it to the big bad youtube machine .
