Yes, the next "official video" in the sequence will be on how to pick out the best CB offers. That should be up tomorrow. What I plan to do is put up 1 or 2 in sequence videos per week, but as people have other questions and I just "feel like making this video or that one right now" then we will also have some out of sequence stuff.

Right now this is a rather scattered process for me making this as I'm not planning to sell anything to ET, so I didnt bother to map this whole thing out...which I'm working on today because I realize that things could be getting pretty confusing as I jump around. I'm just gonna blame it on ADD :)

Each product you decide to promote should be treated like it's own minibusiness and mapped out as though you expect to run it forever and make a living off that one product (both of which you wont do, but you should approach it that way anyhow).

The entire process again should be mapped before you even sign up as an affiliate for the product. I've got an excell sheet I use to pretty much turn it into a mathematical exersise.

You also have to have a "risk control" plan in place just like you would in trading. The fact is that probably 50/60% of the products you promote will never turn you a profit. The good news is you can find out very quickly and usually for only about $150/$300 dollars. Once you have a winner you let it ride and try to scale up. If it scales well then you create your own version of that product. The good news is that cutting losses and letting profits run is so much easier in this business then it is in trading. The bad news is that just like anything else there is a learning curve.

I do kinda sorta apologize for jumping around so much. It's really just how I function...when I have the idea for something I just create it right away regardless of where it is in the sequence. If I have to go back and change stuff later coz of how it fits together then that's what happens. It's probably about the least effecient way in the world to do things, but like Popeye's says to Oliveoil "I am what I am". In the past when I have created products people always had the benefit of me being finished with the product before i released it. Since this idea pretty much came up on the fly then thats how the course is pretty much coming out too I guess.

    <b>It Sure Feels Good </b>

    <b><u>Key Points</b></u> <u>
1)People buy on emotion. Later they use logic to justify that purchase to themselves.

2)People do not buy things! They buy feelings and results!</u>

These are two points that took me a few years, but once I did my income increased parabolically.

Let me give you a few examples to illustrate the point. Let's say you just bought a new Ferrari. Why did you buy it? It sure as hell wasnt because its a good reliable car (Coz it's not, they are pieces of shit that spend more time in the shop then on the road). If all you wanted to a ride could have bought a Saturn and it would do the same thing for you. You did not buy a Saturn though did ya..even though you could have easily done so. Nope. So why did you buy that Ferrari? Probably for status. Probably to make your friends envious (or because your friends already have one and your envious and you need your own damn it!) and for the lustful glance from an attractive woman. Nothing magic happens when you buy that Ferrari, your dick doesnt suddenly grow 3 1/2 inches. It's just another car, but a lot of feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction go into buying that car.

The entire financial industry is built on selling a feeling. Why do you invest in the stock market? Probably so that you can retire comfortably and not have to have your kids support you or be forced to rely upon SSI. How does that make you feel? Secure. You invest so that you can pay for your kids college education, because god forbid Johnny doesnt go to a four year university. I mean, if he can't at least get into the State University what the hell does that say about you as a parent to your friends. You might as well stamp loser on your forehead. So, you invest in that IRA etc so that you can pay for little Johnny to get the hell out of the house one of these days and land "a good job". Because when he does that you can tell all your friends how well little Johnny is doing....and you feel pretty damn smug about it..especially since that prick Dan who seems to have everything has a fuck up for a son. At least your one up on Dan when it comes to your son! Take that Dan, you prick!

It's also very important to note that your buyer is not just a click or a page view or a company. No, there is a real life person on the other side of that transaction. A real life person that has to take the credit card out of his pocket and pay for it. He wants to look smart for buying your product, it wants it to solve some problem he is having. He wants to look so damn smart for buying your service that he gets a $4.00 an hour raise and when he gets home and tells her about it she rewards nicely for it that night. That's why he buys.

Never forget that your buyers are people. That they are emotional, that they have wants and they have needs, and they are only buying from you to fulfill those wants and needs. When you can isolate those dreams and the feelings that go with those dreams selling a product to a person is like taking candy from a baby.

  6. Brandon,
Is this the software that sells for ~$300.00? The Camtasia I mean.

If so, do you know of any other less expensive software that'll do the same job?

Yes it is and it does. I bought several copies under a multi user license but then didnt figure out I did not buy as many as I bought until after my refund period had expired. Send me a PM and I can give you an unlock and user code. I have two I can give out and it will just have to be first come first serve. There is no need to pay me since I screwed up in buying them and they really don't have a money value to me.

There are similar free product that I'm aware of. Camstudio.org and then The Jing Project (which is owned by Techsmith, the company who owns Camtasia) If someone else wants the last one too you can have it. So, first come first serve, one is gaurantee'd for Chuck, the other to whoever's PM shows up in my PM folder first.

    Brandon

Edit: Extra Camtasia has been given out. I don't have anymore.

    Hey guys,

I just spent the better part of 3 hrs. on bubbl.us which is tremendous website I might add, but after getting everything just right, I printed my sheet... and proceeded to lose the whole project. Luckily the sheet did print but now I have to go back and re-draw everything. I don't know if it's a bug or what but I highly recommend saving your work at various points along the way. Just a heads up.

  9. You might cover this in a vid but I had a question on researching products. Lets say you pick a CB product that has good CB stats, but no other good stats.

For example, CB has some Wii Game Download affiliates that appear to have good gravity and comission, but google's keyword search tool couldn't even find enough data on the keywords "wii downloads".

How do you know if something is a good opportunity (obviously this would be a very un-crowded market so you wouldn't have to compete with as many advertisers) or if its a dud? How can a product have good gravity but almost no searches?

  10. Another thing is obviously the Wii itself is an extremely hot product, you would thing anything related to it would be hot.

I dont want to do this one but im curious and thought it was a good example.
