Even we in India know that it is not "dollers", as reads a thread headlining in Economics. Posted we are thinking by an ecognomeist.
And let us not forget the ever-popular "stratergy." An ad copyist's proposal to rebrand a company called Strategic Energy? Can "straturgy" be far behind as "the urge to be strategic?"
Today's cuntribution, close to home: "worse-case". But maybe he MEANT it to be one degree of comparison less ugly than the "worst."
I can't believe it took 12 pages of replies for someone to correct him on this. I noticed he replied to you and tried to argue that he was correct because of his age or some such shit. Yes, your age makes your improper English suddenly acceptable and correct. This a/an before history or any variation of is my pet peeve. It is "a historian", "a history" etc. No argument will change that. My other pet peeves are seperate instead of separate, loose instead of lose, and the easest ever to avoid: YOU'RE instead of YOUR. IT'S A FUCKING CONTRACTION. If you are unsure, just say the sentence again and replace it with "you are" if it sounds wrong then use the word your. If it still comes out correct then you use you're. It's not very difficult! But thanks overspool, I was losing faith in people until I got to your post.
