    I think the Bad Specialist are getting nervous about this thread. They are afraid of being mentioned here and getting blacklisted.

    :)

    Let keep this thread lean with posting on just specialist rating and not post news article or a debate on the merit of having a specialist system.

    Debates on specialist system and news article is more appropriate be posted to this thread.

    SII = Stay Away if you are not comfortable trading against the specialist.

    Seems to be a lot of Principal Trading going on here today. Maybe the specialist is doing his negative obligation because he cannot match buying/selling orders. Can't tell for sure, but count on the specialist being on the other side of your trade today.

    SFA = Stay Away

    Specialist moves the price around erratically to his advantage. Not an orderly market.

    they have all gone to hell. remember when they used to create smooth markets. now they flip. nor do they give you the better price ever. spreads widen to thirty cents or more (CYD). ecns take over. can't get executed on ny. gone to hell

    trades like a nasd stock. can't tell the direction half the time. thirty cent spreads. bid of one hundred. offer of one hundred. where is the next trade. use ecns to force stock up. ecns disappear. then use ny size to force it back down, selling at a lower price what was bought at a higher price. then they bring it up again. nuts
