Jim Jordan would be an excellent choice.

  5. Looks like Patrick McHenry be having a little baggage there from past skirmishes. I think the shaman gave her more notice than McHenry did.

Not sure why they didn't do it when she left the speaker job and it would have been in the natural order of things to move her out of her speaker-sized office. Fear of pissing off dems I guess.

Oh well. Either way, have a nice day Nancy.

Nancy Pelosi Evicted From Private Capitol Office by Interim House Speaker

Mere hours after Patrick McHenry, a Republican Representative from North Carolina, assumed the acting House speaker position, he ordered former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to "immediately" vacate her private office in the Capitol.

This is all boo-hooing because democrats didn’t save Kevin McCarthy’s ass. The good news is now republicans have a chance to vote for Hakeem Jeffries for speaker! I’m sure there’s 8 republicans that’ll vote for him, like there were 8 democrats that would vote for McCarthy.

*I retract the above statement. While it is in no way the democrats fault McCarthy lost his speakership, if that office is traditionally designated for the preceding speaker then by all rights and tradition it should be given to McCarthy.

  8. Looks like they are prettying that up a bit.

BUT.......to give Pelosi 24 hours to get out of her office when she is on the west coast.

CMON Man! There some vitriol involved there. Not sayin' that's a bad thing.

Maybe the next republican speaker will be friendlier to the democrats now that they know they may need democrats to save their ass some time in the future.

It’s petty soap opera stuff anyway. The true power in the House will continue to run out of Nancy Pelosi’s office anyway, no matter where they put her.

Kind of but it’s not like Pelosi will be packing boxes, etc. even if she was there.
