I had to re-read it a few times what you wrote...

Sorry, I'm a little slow tonight in catching the sarcasm. :D

P.S. He and the GOP are going to be "that joke" in every Tonight Show this week.

I'm not in favor of this move right now. Let's let this play out though.

Pelosi said that she got a message to vacate her office tomorrow, knowing she is at Feinstein's funeral arrangements by the interim speaker.

    The bullshit never ends.

"This eviction is a sharp departure from tradition. As Speaker, I gave former Speaker Hastert a significantly larger suite of offices for as long as he wished,” she said. “Office space doesn’t matter to me, but it seems to be important to them. Now that the new Republican Leadership has settled this important matter, let’s hope they get to work on what’s truly important for the American people.”

Well I just ran across this and it seems a fitting post before bed. Nice little solo from around 3:50.

They can easily replace Kevin McCarthy, foremost RINO who cannot even use the Republicans leverage against Joe Biden and his acolytes. He trimmed a measly $2 billion from the $87 billion budget for IRS auditors which were not needed at all. A huge waste of tax dollars. Not counting McCarthy and McConnell, joining Joe Biden in their blank check policy on Ukraine. They have given Ukraine $115 billion so far, with no end in sight. I am glad he is out. Bring on Jim Jordan or Elise Stepanik. They can do a better job than Kevin McCarthy on his best day. Zelensky and his top officials cannot even account for where all the monies have gone. Ukraine before the Russian invasion was given the title of the most corrupt country in Europe. That is the Europeans saying it. Yet, NATO keeps feeding Zelensky with hundreds of billions of dollars with no accounting as to where the monies are going.

To be clear they only needed 8 Democratic votes to avoid this
It seems the Democrats had the clearest choice here

McCarthy may have just entered the Trump VP sweepstakes whether or not he, or anyone, realizes it yet.
