  1. Cheers mate.

I post the majority of my calls and trades inadvance, then usually post confirmation once the trade has been made,
and occasionally give a running commentary on here whilst the trade is running, depending on what the market is doing/how i feel.

  3. Looked at oil just now and my resistance reading was again ultra-perfect... :)

Im not going to make anymore trades today though as am still holding my juniper long,
and so am going to allocate all my capital to that.

Especially with fed talking later its too much of a gamble to make any trades between then and now.

  4. Mate why don't you just go and do some looting yourself if you are struggling so much to make profit from trading and so are so keen on this as an alternative income revenue?? lol

  5. It'd just be interesting to see what sort of return you're getting. How much of your money did you put into Juniper and why did you decide to do that?

I'm just looking for some good trades in the FX markets.

  6. I made an inital core buy trade in Juniper at just £1 per point,
added 2 more buy contracts as the price fell down,
and have been buy-only scalping the stock over the past week with upto 3 extra contracts.

So the position's value has been between £3 - £6 per point,
with the initial core position having remained in a loss,
however ive made decent profit from the long-scalps,
so is currently at about break net profit due overall currently.

Ive dropped some size now though, after yesterdays Dow rocket up,
and am now just going to hold my core position only to my target level of $24.05,
    not bother scalping anymore.

And for FX i am (and would recommend) looking to buy the usd vs the swiss franc.
As swiss franc is extremely overbought now.

However i see the dollar weakening slowly and gradually more for the next 1-2weeks atleast,
and so wouldn't jump in just yet.

Am also keeping an close eye on aud/usd, as i want to short aud/usd when it reaches 1.800/900 level again.

  7. And i bought Juniper as it crashed 23% in 1 day just because when they gave their earnings report,
    which matched estimates,
that they forecast 'slower growth' over next 6months due to poor economy.
They are a a huge company, have been around for decades and will be around a decade in the future,
and they have a monoploly on the networking market, so no real risk of them going bankrupt.

The main reason for the trade was that i saw a 23% vertical crash, and in oil and other markets which i specialise in trading a crash like that would never ever ever be allowed to happen without atleast a 4-5% bounce the next day/next 2 days.

Last night cisco announced earnings and revenue, both which beat estimates,
and so shares have rocketed up 14% today.
I had hoped and though that they would drag the entire networking sector higher, especially juniper who is their biggest competitor and so a mirror-company basically,
however juniper only up 2.5% so far.

However it looks like its now formed a base on the downside, and so providing it can hold above 20.86 on the downside,
we now just need to break and hold with decent volume above 21.43 on the upside and then theres nothing to prevent it rallying to 22.26 before the weekend. :)

What levels is everyone else looking at today and what trades you all making??

  8. And Juniper now up 9% on the day, hitting the 22.36 resistance level. :)

Still need 6-8% more rise in the stock to hit my target price though.

  9. Have just created a short-sell order to short the US 2-year Bond.

My entry level sell price will be 110.33, with target of 110.14.

(It has a 4points spread, so il only actually get .31 - .16 worth of profit)

And this trade will be at £6 per point.

  10. I made this trade manually on Wednesday afternoon at $35.06,
and it hit my target cash-in order of $36.92 yesterday evening,
so a very very nice 186points more profit for the week!! :)

(I could have got a slightly lower buy price if id delayed my buying, however im very happy with what i did and how much i made!) :D

Ive attached a chart to show why i made the trade, and why i entered and exited at the levels that i did.

And also my fundamental analysis of Jp Morgan vs the other USA banks was perfectly spot on,
as whilst the all the others like goldmans and bank of america have fallen 9% - 15% over the past week,
Jp Morgan has ended the week down only 2%!
