Spanish. You trade with ETX don't you? How do you change your default trade size? I've just opened an account and added funds, but i'm trying to get my layout sorted and my default trade size changed. cheers
Cashed in that trade a few hours ago at 77.33 support for another 73pips profit for the day! Looking to resell NZD/JPY next week potentially at the 78.06 level again. Before that am looking to sell Dax at 7,756 or to buy GBP/AUD at 1.536 level early next week though if they reach those levels.
Hi mate, and yeah i trade with ETX. I dont think you can set a 'default trade size' with them though. You just have to choose whatever £ per point you want to make each trade indvidually when opening the trade.
And to update my journal- Have just bought the VIX Feb future at 13.78 (13 on normal Vix). My minimum target will be 14.85, however im not setting a target order for this trade as dont want to miss out on any huge spike if theres a global disaster.
Yeah, I think you're right. Most platforms have more features where you can save layouts and various default order settings etc. Not to worry. Just means more clicking each time I want to trade. cheers ps - good trading
You can save the layout to be default mate. As you can select what markets you want to be saved onto your watch-list by clicking that 'save to watch list' icon next to the markets, plus when you can selected the size of the various boxes the click on the settings tab which is near top left of screen, click manage layouts, and then you can save it as default/reset it. And cheers mate, what trades you curremntly holding / looking to make??
I'm currently long gbpusd (in a different account and more of a longer term trade) As of Monday, I have a week off of work so I'm gonna be trying daytrading. Mainly Oil and some FX pairs. Might blow my new ETX account up though!
What was your entry, and whats your target mate? And why would you blow it up though? lol How much you going to use as your starting capital?
I'm long from 1.5780, near enough where it is now. I'm looking for 1.5950-1.6 area. However, that in a different account and is more of a swing which I might need to hold for a while. As for the ETX account, it's just for a bit of fun whilst i'm off work next week to keep me entertained. I don't have much experience with intraday trading, and tight stops etc. I just put £500 in there which I'm not too fussed about if I lose it all, lol.
Fancy joining me in buying the VIX mate?? £500 capital could give you at buy at 13.00 (daily vix price) at £10 per pip, with a stoploss down at 10.5. Vix merely needs to reach the 15.5 level and you will double your capital.
