  1. You are being unfair toward Germany.
Before the EU, the traditional path for a Greek person was actually to immigrate because the economy.
Now, even with such a crisis - even a very bad one- there are still Greeks who'd rather stay home.

    Hi

It is a complex situation. Let me put it into the context.
The catalan goverment has been asking for a vinculant referendum for many years. A Referendum accorded with Spain. But no other response than silence from the Spaish goverment.

Spanish goverment is composed by Partido popular, that's a party with more corruption cases in Europe. In fact not only many members of this party but the whole party is beeing investigated. The Spanish Prime minister was , a few months ago, in a court testifying for this.

Do you know who is a member of that party ?
And more, the spokesman of the U.E commission is greek and he is married with who, yes with a high member of this party.

The spanish PM put in front of the Spanish police a coronel to repress the celebration of the referendum. This coronel is brother of who was President of Constitucional tribunal till few months ago, who is of course member of the same party, Partido Popular.
And more, that coronel was investigated for tortures years ago and presented himself voluntary for a coup d'etat in Spain in 1981 when the Guardia civil entered armed to the Spanish parlamient.

Spain is a country that must be reformed. Please don't forget that was a dictatorship regime for forty years. And a lot of police and army leaders come from that regime. And also a lot of tribunal magistrates and politics.

I thought, like a lot of catalan people, that we could help Spain to improve. But since 2010 the situation is very difficult.
We have another culture and we speak another language, catalan. Of course We also speak Spanish. Much of Spanish society doesn't like that.
Many masks are falling these days.

My conclusion is that they only want us to pay taxes. Catalonia is a rich region and they could not afford to lose it.

But We say enough. We want to be respected and have the right to decide our political future.

    We are living interesting days.

    This declaration is a shame.

Please read international press that were here in Barcelona that day.
The Spanish national television has said nothing about the brutal police repression.
Nobody believes what spanish goverment is saying.

We want to broke with a law, yes, a law that is forbbiding us to vote. We want Democracy.

  4. That's because- in Greece- the ones who actually want to work left for other countries long ago which has weakened the remaining gene pool there.

There are lots of videos like that. Pacific citizens waiting to vote. The video is long but you will see how the spanish police act.

8.00 am , cloudy day in Barcelona, in front of a polling station. It was the first actuation of the spanish police in Barcelona that day. This is why people didn't know what to expect.
Hear the sound. The repression begins at min. 20

All the world saw what happened. But Spanish goverment say that is an invention of the independentists.

Spain is almost broken. Prepare your puts.

What will happen next, in my opinion.
The catalan parliament will declare the independence in the next days.
Then the spanish goverment will suspend the Catalonia goverment and will assume all their competencies.
The population of Catalonia will not accept that. And the catalan Police will stay with the catalan goverment.
Spain will send more spanish police and maybe the army.
Population are going to take the streets to defend the catalan goverment and will be repressed by the spanish forces.

Then Europe, U.E. , Germany, U.S.A , will have to pronounce and probably mediate.

If there's no a solution milions of catalans will stop to pay taxes to the Spanish goverment and will begin to pay taxes to the catalan treasury.

We have not been violent since the begining of the situation and we don't want to be.
Is a peaceful and democratic movement.

This is happening right now in the middle of Europe.

So was the south's secession from the union in America. Hopefully Lincoln isn't Rajoy's hero.

EU-general Timmerfrans called the violence "proportionate" today. So the EU is showing it's true colors.
