We all might as well just kick up our legs and die like the insects we are. This virus will keep us all locked into our homes for the indefinite future, and we ARE TRULY NOW World War Z.

Game over man. Sucks for the children. It would have been nice for them to see the sunlight after they were born.

    We Are Legend.

PNAS: Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences of USA

"Outcome of patients treated with CP (Convalescent Plasma) (Col as compared to a recent historic control group.
A historic control group was formed by random selection of 10 patients from the cohort treated in the same hospitals and matched by age, gender, and severity of the diseases to the 10 cases in our trial. Baseline characteristics of patients between CP treatment group and control group showed no significant differences, while clinical outcomes of these two groups were different: three cases discharged while seven cases in much improved status and ready for discharge in CP group, as compared to three deaths, six cases in stabilized status, and one case in improvement in the control group (P < 0.001; SI Appendix, Table S1)."

Plasma treatment being tested in New York may be coronavirus 'game changer'

"One of the first recovered patients to donate, Danny Riemer, 37, of New Rochelle, New York, said he and his wife feel "blessed" that they are now healthy and can volunteer their plasma to help others. "And despite the fact that we did have the virus, our thoughts are really with others, the people who are still fighting the virus, the people who have had much more serious cases than us," he said.

A new report raises hope that the blood of recovered patients can help treat severe coronavirus cases

    BULLSHIT

It means nothing. Just some false crap-ass to try to make us feel-good after all the negativity. It will have the opposite effect when they finally report that the test was wrong, faulty, false positives, false negatives, etc etc etc. Like with that woman in MA today. 4 tests. She had it based on a test, started her 14-day lockdown, retested later on twice, got a false negative on third try, is back in ANOTHER 14-day lockdown.

Guys, this shit is never going to end. Every negative test will be a false one, and every positive will be false until it is conveniently flipped to a positive. We're going to be prodded to isolate for a couple of years at least. What a terrible time to go long in the market.

The mask doesnt protect you unless it's a FITTED N95 or better mask.

An improperly fitted N95 mask or a surgical mask does not filter anything. The N95 improperly fitted is about as effective as a surgical mask and surgical masks only protect other people from you. They do not protect you from other people. That is if someone with the china virus coughs directly in your face and somehow it only landed on the mask you'd still have a very high probability of being infected. This wouldn't be true with a properly fitted N95 mask.

The nice side effect of everyone wearing a surgical mask is that even though it doesn't filter, it redirects coughs/sneezes in a safe direction and therefore reduces the risk of spread from sick to healthy.

As a side note - locally people are wearing masks everywhere but wrong. Remember for surgical masks:

    1. Pull the mask over your face completely. Over your nose and down your chin.
    2. Pinch the metal nose tab around your nose tightly.
    3. Insure side gaps are as small as possible (if you have a beard - good luck).
    4. Insure the mask is a tight fit around the face and not slipping off/over your ears.

Removing the mask is also simple: pull it off from the ear loops (DO NOT TOUCH THE FRONT) and toss it directly in the trash.

I've seen people at the store wearing the masks such that their nose is exposed, wearing the masks on their head (????), taking the masks off around other people, not pinching nose tabs (or worse a mask without a nose tab!), etc. They aren't amulets of protection people. You need to use them properly!

If Chuck Schumer does not know how to wear one, what chance does the average joe have.

But then again he could know if it is not N95, it not giving him much protection anyway even if worn properly, by wearing one this way he is at least reducing the virus from spreading outwards via his mouth.

So he is helping protecting others but not himself.

You see people don’t think about all this stuff, like you have. Even the experts ..must not.

    1) Bad bad strategy on part of the experts to lower death rate from over 2 million to 100,000 -240,000, 80,000, to 60,000. Americans were finally starting to wear mask..gloves...etc. Now they appear to be shedding them. That lowering has to do with getting people back working so is about $$$$ and sad to say but Mr T is pushing it. Last thing we need to do is all run back to work.

    2) it makes the experts look...well...not so expert. Like they don’t know what they are doing.

In Colorada yes ofcourse, only 6510 cases there out of 5.7Mil people so so 0.11% tested and already 0.81% of the population on this way to small a study have it. over 7x's the tested amount.

Do this on NYC and we'll see if it's doom and it's 3% of population or a nothing burger and 50%+ of population, my money and all pseudo evidence points to 50%+.
