Not true. God created Christ and gave him everything...gave him reality...made him reality. Christ's power is equal to God. But God is greater because he is the Cause of Christ, and gave him everything of Himself. Christ is able to give life, and co-create with his Creator. Christ uses his God-given mind to imagine a world completely different from reality...different from himself. Such is this world. It is not really a giving of life, because it is not really alive. So it is not the Will of his Father. It appears alive to those who believe in this world. But it is really very mechanical and machine-like. Everything in it dies. And what can die was never alive. Christ is alive because he cannot die. But in this world, he appears to die. He appears to die because this world represents the opposite of reality, everything that Christ is not as he was Created by his Cause. Neither true nor real, this world is a dream...a thought that is as quickly dismissed as it is considered. Quickly dismissed, it's effects linger for those aspects of the Christ-mind that still invest belief in it. Time is real for those who believe in it. We are now witnessing the gradual withdrawal of faith in this world. It appears to occur over thousands, even millions of years. It is accomplished as each aspect of seemingly segregated mind-share listens to the counsel of the Holy Spirit who is the true Self who never forgets reality. Given everything, Christ is God's Kingdom. A thought in Christ's mind came that he could steal this Kingdom away from God and use it for alt-reality, making every effort to make the alt-reality real. This is an impossible task. But you are witnessing the results of it. The world seems quite real to those who believe in it...those who believe Christ's mind can be segregated, privatized, measured, compared...and finally killed. Salvation reverses this belief, and informs you that you cannot, and have not stolen anything from God. So nothing has changed. You are simply sleeping and dreaming. Your remain Christ, as God created you. Jesus
Great! Do you believe that Jesus the Son is equal to God the Father. This is where many debates start, if not please quote from scripture your reasoning.
Yes, I do believe that Jesus Christ is equal to God the Father. Assuming you mean equal in glory, but not equal as in being the same person.
I, Jesus, had a mortal mother as I appeared within the dream that is this world. That is because this world is a denial of living parentage. So it is a strange place. Christ conjures this world by the power of his mind as an alt-reality, opposite and upside down from the truth. All within this world are manifestations of Christ as he conjures an unreality about himself. I, Jesus, am called "Christ" because I recognized that I am that One that conjures up a false kingdom...what you call "the universe". Yet, all within this dream of a kingdom are that One equally with me. Some recognize this, some don't...yet. That is the only difference between us: the decision to return to full awareness of Self. As Jesus, I am an effect of this conjuring. As Christ, I am the cause of it. As cause, I remembered the thinking and reasoning that preceded the conjuring of this world. I realized that the reason for making this world was meaningless and chaotic. I viewed it as a kind of insanity. But I also viewed it as a kind of expression of freedom. The parable of the prodigal Son describes wanderlust and it's consequences. It is a wandering of mind in the mind of Christ. I used my freedom to choose again, cease wandering, turn around, and head home. As a magical construct, I chose to reverse the spell by changing my mind about myself. After all, the world is about the denial of Self. As I desired to do so, my Self reminded me of who I am. My Self brought me messages from my Father. I trusted them. I dispelled the spell that is this world by reversing and/or withdrawing from the thinking that makes it. I learned that thinking conjures this world through a series of decision-making processes that I called "judgment". Judgment is deciding without all the facts. This world is nothing but a rash judgment. So I learned to lay down judgment, and let my Self, the Holy Spirit, decide for me for God. In this way, I came to remember the beginnings of this world, and how it is built and maintained. In brief, I became privy to what was rolling around in the mind of the "prodigal Son"...the psychology of wandering from reality. It is maintained by a concept of guilt and an expectation of punishment. The "secret" is that there is no basis for guilt, and so no reason to expect punishment. The world was built as a place to hide and defend from an imagined attack that seemed inevitable. Thus, it is a game. In this game, those within the walls of the city occasionally toss out a "sacrifice" that they think will appease the imagined attackers outside. It never really makes them feel secure, and it only perpetuates the game. No one is going to attack, certainly not God. This is the truth. And this truth will set you free. Jesus
You do well. Now simply extend this belief to include yourself. How does Cache Christ sound to you? Jesus
Great, then do you believe that Jesus' earthly existence was from a union of the Holy Spirit and Mary or Joseph and Mary.
I believe that it was a union between the power of the Highest and Mary as stated in Luke. I absolutely don't believe that Joseph had anything to do with Jesus' conception.
Before I comment, let me remind everyone: there is no world! It seems to exist in the mind of Christ only as a belief. Is a belief anything? A belief in the mind of Christ is given great power. It allows him to see what he wants to see. But that does not make it real. I, Jesus, was born of the power of the mind of Christ given to illusions. The Holy Spirit symbolizes that aspect of Christ who builds a bridge of communication between reality and illusions...bringing the illusions back to reality. Mary is a symbol of illusions. Only in illusion is there such thing as child-birth. For that matter, only in illusions is there such thing as male and female. "Father" is a term of endearment meaning love and cause in one word. There is nothing gender related about our Creator. Christ is the same, and that is why there is "no male of female in Christ". Into this illusion the Holy Spirit sends messages...himself being a message sent from our Father to his non-communicating, fantasizing Son. The Holy Spirit is the word of God. He needs no books to speak to you. I, Jesus, symbolize a message from the Holy Spirit. "I was sent from heaven" means "I, the Holy Spirit, is sent from heaven". This is because on my path home, I began to speak as my Self - the Holy Spirit - in the first person. I spoke as He spoke to me. I did the miracles He showed me. Otherwise, my birth was not different from what the laws of this world dictate. A virgin birth was desired by those who wanted to build a special legacy about me relative to misperceived prophetic expectations. It also reflects psychology about sex and how it is connected to guilt in the mind. They wanted to portray me as guiltless, so my mother must be sexless. It works for curiosity seekers as a fetish. But in making me special, the builders of my legacy defeated the purpose of my message. I am not different from anyone! Like you, I had other incarnational experiences in the false kingdom you call "the universe". And this is because I was with you in the beginning of time, making the Self-judgments that resulted in the formation of this krazy kingdom I called "the world". These judgments put us into a deep sleep. That aspect of us we call "Jesus" woke up first, because, well, it was inevitable that one of us begin the resurrection process. I woke up first because since the beginning, I was not so heavily invested in the belief that we could be separated from God our Father. So I was ready, earlier, from a point in linear time, to accept the "Atonement" for myself. In that, I accepted that I am not guilty, that I am the Son of God, free and whole and one with my Father. Given time, all will accept this. None will be left out or left behind. This is the power of holiness. When the last one leaves, the world will pass away. It was vanish, because it is nothing but belief. In heaven, there are no beliefs. There is only perfect knowledge. Jesus
Put "us" on ignore? Who is this "us" you are referring to? With the rest of the participants of this thread I'm having a simple discussion. I would understand if they have already put you on ignore. You should realize that the title "elder" in the mormon church refers to one who is sent forth to preach of Christ. It doesn't by any means imply that they know everything there is to know. When I say "trinity", I am referring to the explanation of the godhead as found in the Nicene and Athanasian creeds. I thought that was obvious. You are again implying that your interpretation of those verses is accurate beyond debate. My interpretation says that they are one in every significant way, except that they are three distinct beings. The bible backs up my interpretation just as well. Yet somehow I am ignoring scriptures? Do me a favor. Make a single statement about one of your beliefs that you'd like me to agree with, other than the trinity because that topic has been beat to death. BTW, what church do you identify with?
