To attend public schools in the United States for the past several decades, you must be vaccinated with the following vaccines... HPV. Tetanus, diphtheria, smallpox and whooping cough (pertussis) (Tdap) Meningococcal disease (MenACWY) Hepatitis A (HepA). Simply, if you're located in the United States...surely you would remember being vaccinated. If you've ever served in the military (since the 1940s), competed in sports (since the 1920s), immigrated to the United States (since the early 1900s), in college...then did an internship abroad... You would have remembered your vaccination into your high school years. I remember my meningococcal (MenB) vaccine when I was 16 but only because the pretty nurse had big tits with erect nipples. My point, you're obviously not from the United States or from Canada...possibility you're living somewhere you have very little contact with other humans to not be ever sick while not vaccinated since you can remember. That's OK and you're welcome to your dislike of any vaccine...that's your freedom and your choice to not be vaccinated with anything. The strange aspect, you often complain about the government, CDC and quote anti-vaccine sources by individuals that are Americans as if you're from the United States. Last of all, I have a degree in immunology, a few internships in the study of infectious diseases and still maintain a trusting network with college friends from my degree program that are tops in the field of immunology and virology... I trust the advice of my former college buddies and not the advice of politicians because politicians tend to say the wrong thing. More important, I'm a strong believer that politics and medical decisions do not mix well. Yeah...I'm not sure why I forgot the required MMR vaccine considering my mom (a photographer) has photographs of the roadblocks in Kentucky near the military base housing where we lived when my old man was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Police went from street to street checking the vaccination cards of residents to see if children in the households were vaccinated against smallpox and MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) that had killed thousands of unvaccinated kids and injured thousands more across the United States. Reminder - After smallpox was eradicated from the planet...mandatory smallpox vaccine was discontinued...the smallpox vaccine had saved millions of children...globally. In contrast, 0.2 vaccinated children with the vaccine died per million vaccinated. Anti-vaxxers in those days concentrated on the 0.2 vaccinated children that died about how bad the smallpox vaccine was for society. Prior to my childhood as in the childhood of my grandparents and great-grandparents...mandatory vaccinations were globally part of Eugenics (especially in the early 1900s) that was initially accepted and then later denounced by anti-vaccine organizations/groups. Simply, mandatory vaccinations have an ugly history although today it is used for the greater good of society...saving more lives than harm. Unfortunately, vaccinations have become political again and you see this when individuals like BKR88 use the words government/CDC/Fauci in their messages...common terms used by conspiracy theorists that want you to believe the illusion that it's not political under the camouflage of the Health/Science threads. Yet, that's his right and its free speech. In the recent past, our generation, the states have been independently managing their mandatory programs...keeping them out of the federal courts. Trump/Pence comes along and starts Operation Warp Speed at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic...very little argument from the anti-vaxxers. Biden/Harris wins the election...those anti-vaxxer groups and conspiracy theorists about Covid vaccines and other vaccines that have been widely accepted (saving millions of lives) since our Parent's childhood...these individuals explode on social media with their anti-vaxxer views as if the world is about to end... Refusing to acknowledge the history of vaccinations. Now you see many brushes it off that they either didn't have a choice when they were a vaccinated as a child or they don't remember ever being vaccinated when in fact they were vaccinated...still living today. wrbtrader
