Like in trading, experience is the best teacher. Watching other people mistakes as well. Watching other people's success as well - including very happily married couples who have been together more than 40 years, with no "hidden icebergs" to make a very unhappy marriage "tolerable". I always enjoy spending time with these very strong families where I can see very happy parents, happy children and very happy grand-children. Each person makes their life choices.
