  1. "promoting the tenets of radical environmentalism, whose ultimate goal, as writer Michael Berliner has explained, is "not clean air and clean water, [but] rather ... the demolition of technological/industrial civilization"

    Conspiracy theorist!

Read 'Soros on Soros' book. He got tired of Rogers never accepting that he could be wrong, only others. The partnership just deteriorated and they went separate ways

  3. Thanks a lot! I'll look into that straight away.

I could see where Soros is coming from by the way.

  4. Really, jem? Discoverthenetworks.org? The initiative funded by the David Horowitz Freedom Center, formerly the Center for the Study of Popular Culture?

Chip Berlet specializes in the study of right-wing movements in the United States, particularly the religious right, white supremacists, homophobic groups, and paramilitary organizations. Writing for the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an organization devoted to "combat racism and promote civil rights through research, education and litigation," Berlet identified the CSPC (now DHFC) as one of 17 "right-wing foundations and think tanks support[ing] efforts to make bigoted and discredited ideas respectable."

I bet you didn't even read Soros's own words, did you, jem? Rather, you resorted to the comfort of being told what to think and write by turning to a source that sees the world through your own ideological prism. Oh, how very surprising.

Afraid to read his own words and then draw your own conclusions, aren't you? I started my last post by telling you to do your own chewing and swallowing. Instead, you got discoverthenetworks to do your chewing for you.

so you found some lefty to call some righty a few names. Why combat the information or the actions when you can slander the messenger? You think a quote for the southern law poverty center... is likely to be objective?

I did read soros words and they are inconsistent with his actions and his funding.

I don't judge people by their words... I judge them by their actions.

  6. Really? Then I apologize for suggesting that you did not read his piece. Could please identify where his words are inconsistent with his actions?

    Lets start with the basics.

The words open society intiative to sort of replace capitalism because it has the potential to be more just. ?

He suggests the way to promote an open society is with more powerful international government?

Right there you know the guy is full of shit.

Freedom comes from being free of federal or international control. Local officials should be more powerful than international.

His actions are inconsistent with the words in that article -- ever step of the way.

He makes money in the free markets yet suggest implicitly they need to be controlled by international or govt powers.

Read the list cited above... tell me if his open society jibes with the article you posted from 1998.

  8. Depends on whether the messenger has a propensity to corrupt the information. Once the messenger goes loosely-goosey on the information, then he is no longer a messenger. He is a propagandist. I would have thought you to be somewhat more discerning.

as if you were not falling for soros' propaganda? Even his name is changed.

The guy is a big socialist... why because he and his big money patrons made it to the wealth and power life boat and now they are trying to pull up the ladder. (to borrow AAA expression.)
